You're smoking your own toilet paper. I got your reference. Except that QAnon Shaman’s lawyer likened Trump propaganda to Hitler and blamed Trump for the Capitol riot: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...anon-shaman-lawyer-trump-hitler-b1849680.html Not exactly a clean parallel, is it?
Because I want to. The stimulus is fine, I've been able to slowly add to my rep maximums. The slow part is not different from how slowly I add weight to heavy sets with longer recovery periods. I've been doing some kind of split routine to failure "forever", so I've always had a sore muscle somewhere every day, and multi-day rests until I work that muscle again. I came across the calisthenics people recently and decided to give it a go. Many of them are slim, yet quite a few, the convict conditioning sort, are "yuge". I think the difference is a matter of exercise selection. I choose mine (currently) for a 20RM. Another thing that changed my thinking is that a friend of mine blew out both meniscus doing heavy deadlifting for a PR. He assured me his form was perfect, he was in focus, they just both "let go" suddenly. It occurred to me then that I may not know my limit until something breaks, so I'd rather lift by feel than by the numbers. Not sure I could "feel" my meniscus were within one rep of breaking, but I can't think of a better way of paying attention to it.
You just need some GABA topping on your pizza little guy. Have you had enough attention this morning little fella?
When I was younger, I favored 5-6, and normally not more than 8 reps to failure. That was then. Presently, I'm in the mid to upper teens. Slower reps, better form, lower resistance. But still to full on MMF.
DouchenBaggen, I thought you were going to stop posting for awhile. Didnt you say you had some recording to do or some sort of made up shit like that?
Nah, decided to hang around and help my friends who have had this multiple stroke nightmare. I'm not going off to a studio to pretend to be a superhero/villan for fun when friends need help. Probably end up on the cutting room floor anyway if I did as karmic revenge.
