Too bad nobody took a shot at the ES.

First post, I see. Well, unfortunately, you're late. But if one understands the plan and the rules, the channel is what it is and the mean is what it is regardless.

    Thanks for participating.

And for our radio listeners, the downside goal for the ES was 37/38. And where are we now? Really? I'll be damned.

A good example of the different functions of trendlines and demand/supply lines:

Is there a pdf of your thoughts on channel means and how price reacts to them?

I feel like there was a pdf of something relating to channel means, but I can't find anything using EliteTrader's search feature.

    Thanks from your radio listeners!

ET doesn't allow anything that large.

The pdf can be found here.

One of the best rules anybody can learn about investing is to do nothing, absolutely nothing, unless there is something to do. Most people always have to be playing; they always have to be doing something. They can't just sit there and wait for something new to develop. I wait until there is money lying in the corner, and all I have to do is go over there and pick it up. I do nothing in the meantime. Even people who lose money in the market say, 'I just lost my money, now I have to do something to make it back.' No, you don't. You should sit there until you find something.

Db my understanding of how to 'characterize' a market is vague. While I have been gathering stats around instances of Reversals,Continuations and Hinges, I feel there is something missing. How does one get to truly know one's market?

Is there any scope for including this area in the SLA /AMT pdf?
