I am looking for the best way to get started backtesting the FX market. Does anyone have any recommendations on what steps to take? Any suggestions on what software to use: Excel, Metatrader, WealthLab?? I have limited programing experience, but am willing to learn. If this topic has already been discussed elsewhere I apologize, and would appreciate a link. But so far I have been unable to find answers to these questions.
