@Scalperten here you go... all you need to know: https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...ion-to-full-time-trading-24-years-old.298510/ https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/turning-15k-credit-card-debt-into-financial-freedom.300696/
Demo trading has diminishing marginal productivity. After a prolonged period of paper trading, a demo user creates his/her own reality of trading, rules and observations that are not always applicable in real time trading. Some people have spent so much time in paper trading that once they move to real trading, they halt their trading upon the smallest of obstacles. Sadly, then they go back and forth between the two, without any significant improvement. If someone starts the journey of demo trading without knowing the psychological and execution limitations, it becomes a futile exercise.
I have to tough it out for now and work/trade. Although the odds are against me I still believe it is possible. I have a few options trade forex through oanda, trade futures through amp or trade equities through sure trader. Idk if this is going to workout guys.
@Handle123 is basically saying don't do it... I don't know why I even bother in this thread... just look at the links I posted earlier @Scalperten... you're in the same league as those 2 guys.
Yep, looks like it's going to be yet another one of those "I borrowed 20k at 25% APR to trade Forex" threads. "Why did I do it? Because it's possible to make 50% annual return, that's why!"
if you guys aren't going to be serious don't even bother posting. I asked a question and all I got was a very mean response from JackRab.
