" I find that when I lack sleep and my mind KNOWS that there are no consequences at all to waking up late there is more likelihood I won't wake up prematurely and that I'll get a good night's rest."

BINGO...for instance all this week i kept waking up at 4 30 am knowing trading was only 2 hrs away- i could not fall back to sleep...and then last night i went to bed at 2 30 am woke at 630 but fell back to sleep asap and didnt wake til 10 30....Its the anticipation and anxiety that i ahve to overcome.

"Your ability to sleep better on weekends suggests to me your sleep problems may be linked to anticipation expectation or excitement associated with what you are doing on weekdays. Do you enjoy trading? Do you find it exciting or do you find it boring? Stressful?"

I love trading-it is a challenge and i am psyched about it.
It is stressful tho and i have my moments where i get pissed.
Some people say TGIF,I used to say TGIM(thank god its monday).I dont say that anymore cuz its a wee bit in your face.
I have been trading since 1990.But i used to position trade and slept normal.

  2. So this is what it is like when all the greatest medical minds get together.

For the original poster. Go to your doctor and discuss the problem. Have him refer you to a specialist. There are sleep labs at many of the major universities. You may need to have a sleep study done. If you have insurance, this is no prob. Get professional help instead of asking these mental midgets how to handle it.

In case you rocket scientists havent heard, it is illegal to provide medical advise without being licensed.

Its a medical miracle that you fucking idiots can breathe and walk at the same time.

Where do you draw the line between advice and medical advice?

Is it OK if a licensed and corrupt medical doctor gives advice based on what the pharmaceutical industry will profit from?

Is it illegal for the citizens of a country do give each other non-profit-making and friendly advice?

    Who decides what`s legal/illegal?

  6. Yeah well if you feel insulted thats a step in the right direction.

See if as a result of your stupid comments, the original poster decides to take some action that results in harm or possibly death, you may find yourself in a courtroom displaying your intelligence (or lack of it) to a jury.

Whats so fucking comical is you document it by using a public web site...Brilliant...

No wonder you folks can't trade

Like I said, don't let me stop you. I am loving it.

  7. To alleviate your ignorance, I suggest you print out your post, fold it so it has five points and shove it where the sun don't shine.

Try going to a nutritionist, a change in diet may help also, along w/ exercise, and talking to your doctor safely getting off the sleeping pills.

  10. Dear Steve/ Internet Tour Guide,

Who provided medical advice? LOL it\'s also illegal to offer investment advice without a license right?

Well, since no one here *technically* does it, rather we offer opinions....

I guess maybe, just maybe this is a similar situation.

Thanks for coming out Steve. Now go back to being bitter. Have a nice weekend.

I hope someone gives you a Christmas present this year.
