Getting orders filled on spreads

Discussion in 'Options' started by mportnoy, Feb 23, 2020.

  1. There is no such animal as a synthetic spread that doesn’t involve spot. The diff between a call and a put is spot. IOW, a natural call vertical is a 100/105 call spread. A “synthetic spread” would be a long 100P, long shares, short 105 call, but nobody in the business uses that terminology.

    In before anyone mentions guts/boxes.

You and everyone else that are members or are just reading my posts should understand that if you want to communicate with me, my email and phone number are in my signature. If you email or call sales, there are two salespeople that cover those emails and calls. Sometimes I back up the sales phone line or get forwarded certain types of emails that I might better service. But if you want my help or me as your salesperson, when you request a demo, please say you heard about us from Elite Trader. If you have any questions, contact me directly.

This is a Futures platform. You can trade ES futures and options but not SPX.

  9. ...only works on futures.
TT also works with options on futures, Treasuries and cryptocurrencies. TT does not connect to CBOE for equity options and indexes.
