Getting IB's TWS to talk

How do you get the lady on TWS to say... "Order Filled" "Order Pending"

I got to Configure >> Golbal Configuration >> sound Manager, and the sounds are enabled. When I go to click "Play" I don't hear anything.

I have tested other sounds on my computer and they work. Does IB have a something else you have to check to make this sound work?

 

I was unaware that TWS generated these audio messages. I have heard these messages when I used Ninja Trader, however.

 

yeah that was how I recall of those messages. HA!

yes I do. The sounds doesn't work... they I tested another sound from somewhere else so I know my sound system on the computer works

 

Why the hell did this post get moved to Trading Software... why can't it stay in Retail Brokerages. I understand that it is software, but it is also about retail brokerages?
