I keep getting spam emails for all kinds of stuff. Does anyone know of a way to get back at these bastards?

The latter two delay the delivery of real mail, but that should prevent 99.9% of spam from reaching your mailbox. Most spam I receive now comes from so-called legitimate sources, such as iVolatility.com and whatever "Get Rich Trading Options!" scheme they are advocating.
I bought this and it works great http://www.pandasecurity.com/usa/ another option is hotmail and turn the security way up... nothing gets through that you dont want
I've been using gmail for about 3 years... And spam is just a distant memory. Either Google's spam filters are exceptional... Or spammers don't bother gmail.com... Perhaps because Google's hackers will take them out one way or another. I cannot even imagine wrestling with a Stone Age POP3 account.
try a program called mailwasher. You can scan the message before actually downloading it to your email clients and if you don't want it you can bounce it back to sender (if possible) Also can remember senders so that it will automatically screen these aholes in the future.
