you need to do the annotaing as a parallel effort on three fractals. this chat looks like the fast fractal annotations only. critique: Caution: If you miss a translation, you may fann instead of complete a segment of a pattern. (see bars 30 to 40 on day 1 where you missed a transaltion red and then jumped fractals to the trading fractal.) drill 1. add notations for ftt's of each segment of the fast fractals. type "ftt" above of below the bar. 2. annotate the fasat fractal volume as dom or non dom volume. when going from point 1 to point 2 put in the trough @ the BO of the rtl and place a non dom to the left and a dom to the right. Label the P's and T's as they occur. This drill with 1. lets you SEE the pattern as AN ORDER OF EVENTS. 3. Connect the ftt's (medium weight) to form the trading fractal parallelograms. 4. annotate the trading fractal volume as dom or non dom volume (medium wieght) when going from point 1 to point 2 put in the trough @ the BO of the RTL and place a non dom to the left and a dom to the right. Label the P's and T's as they occur. This drill with 3. lets you SEE the trading pattern as AN ORDER OF EVENTS. 5. Label the FTT's of the trading fractal parallelograms. 6. Connect the FTT's (heavy weight) to form the slow fractal parallelograms. 7. annotate the slow fractal volume as dom or non dom volume (medium wieght) when going from point 1 to point 2 put in the trough @ the BO of the RTL and place a non dom to the left and a dom to the right. Label the P's and T's as they occur. This drill with 6. lets you SEE the slow pattern as AN ORDER OF EVENTS. 8. Label the FTT's of the trading slow parallelograms. follow this drill as you do the next days after you updated the inital days to this level. you did very well to do a drill on the cases. the fast tractal segments and doing fanning, expansion and accelration. This mental contitioning will stick after a few nights sleep while doing what you did. You are ready to "go parallel" and move bar by bar with the nesteing and the patterns on each completing their order of events. You are programming your mind just like an ATS and backtesting is created. Note: for those doing the PVT and beginning their first training cycles, use these posts as guidance on PVT IAS's, annotating the charts of candidates for the Universe, DAS's, the Universe column maintenance, and maintaining the three 30 minute tile piles for RO, DU, and owned. etc.....
There it was... that word again... I had to look it up just to be sure you are not trying to insult me. Thanks!
VERY cool. critique OB's are yellow box cases as you see on other people's charts. I gave you an OB drill for 1600 bars. Its yield gives you several pages to add to part I Markets. Volume seems to be missing on this chart. Volume leads price and seeing it on the chart allows your mind to work ahead of your conscious work. By telling your subconscious you don't have volume in the pictures it sees, it may get the impression that volume is unimportant and that volume is not leading price. Volume leads price and your subconscious is now working through the concept to have it ready for you when it feels like stepping right up there and impressing you with what SCT trading is all about.....the order of events of the pattern a PV market fundamental construct. you are moving out from the herd as a parsitic trader of smart money. SCT lets smart money PUSH your trades to the hilt. drill 1. become accustomed to putting volume on the chart. Do all charts from now on to include volume. 2..If you annotate price, annotate volume first and project it into the future. 3. Get your volume pane up to date. Be sure you have snippets for PACE and for PRV shadow. It is important to know that you know the ultimate volume of a bar 12 seconds into a new bar. this loads your mind consciously and unconsciously) with "anticipation" for the nesting and the order of events on three concurrent patterns and ,drilling down, to the order of events of the forming bar's mutaion into its final form. Carving trading turns does not happen at the end of bars; when you acquire skills this is important.
"...(see bars 30 to 40 on day 1 where you missed a transaltion red and then jumped fractals to the trading fractal.)..." Hi Jack, I zoomed into that area to see what you mean. Please have a look. Thanks.
thanks for enlarging it. I saw the rtl being broken and no additional fanning. My incorrect view was that price translated on bars where they went B to R. I note that in that area the yellows keep overlapping bar after bar so you are fanning each bar if you do fans when yellows occur. by adding the stich at the color change you can fan. By adding the hitch that is missing you can fan. By adding the next hitch that is missing you can fan. then the next fan on the stitch becomes the last fan. If a yellow was not there, then when I glanced, I didn't see the fans either. I will shoot your charts over to paint and blow them up a little as an eye drill for me. I have been reconnecting my new bionic eyes to my brain and vie versa for a few months. I go off steiods soon so my new corneas will not be growing back so fast after that. when you get old things wear out and have to be replaced. LOL.... as you do the drills you will be adding yellows fully and doing the fanning or expansion or acceleration as required. I was gald to see you discover how much of market events iare in the yellow category. It is an eye opener to be sure. This will have a calming effect on your emotional growth as we get trading. Mr Black is a cool example of how calm trading can be. when you turn to running the three fractals in parallel and annotating volume on three levels in parallel you will be working as work is done in real time. This is the goal of the trader to do MADA rule sets in real time to get to know that you know. We are very rapidly getting into the practical and pragmatic aspects of making money. at this point I am observing that you are really getting the transition to the knee of the operating curve done quite effectively. Also it is VERY noticable that you do not have to build many walls to block out CW myths and bad beliefs from inductive thinking. Thee two handicaps (that you don't have personally) really slow the transition to the knee of the curve down. What is nice about this is that you are correcting my conclusions when they aren't warranted. This lets me make the effort to look more closely at your work. It looks like by Monday you will have the current fractal envelopes of K200 in place. and before open we can prepare a "carry over" report so we can begin to do SCT on the opening bar of the Korean Monday coming up Sunday pm in Tucson.
Well I have a lot of attitude. it comes across as dry humor in some ways. Some times it is corny though. This is a great investment for me. the payoff in your teaching others will be terrific. Also there is the compounding of capital in two ways. straight exponential growth for you indiviualy and the merging of other traders into the practicing group that helps others solve local problems (a greater exponential growth). I can begin to see regionalizing out global meetings if the volcanic dust , etc. doesn't get too bad with more and more volcanos and earthquakes. We can meet briefly at earthquake sites and do double duty.
"...It looks like by Monday you will have the current fractal envelopes of K200 in place. and before open we can prepare a "carry over" report so we can begin to do SCT on the opening bar of the Korean Monday coming up Sunday pm in Tucson...." Slowly... slowly... Jack. As you can see I'm really breaking the whole M(ADA) into as little and few chunks as my brain can process at the same time. This not very fast but once I have one "information chunk" ready I can feel comfortable to go to the next level and never look back. That's why you see no volume yet, no ftts, no nesting fractals, etc. I will add them either one by one or probably several of those items at a time but before for me it's: nine cases, fast fractal, internals and fanning. So when you add too many items to a drill at the same time before I feel/see that I have the previous things incorporated my brain goes:  and then I will get there, just slower and with fewer chunks at the same time.
Jack, here is the first part of Day 1 with some ftts and gaussians added. Fractal nesting I will try later. Small and few information chunks at a time...
this is a terrific orientation to learning. you know your pace of learning and you have a rational approach to building your knowledge and skills. the way we are working is coll because it is possible to always have the next shells on the table to add to the growing core. As you see, there are many pieces. And here are the tasks of putting the pieces together. what is working out is that you are vaoiding "inventing" stuff and using itas a substitute for a needed piece. good work.
Here is an annotated chart on the fast fractal level There is a volume move for each ftt to ftt period.
