Okay I know wher they go now. here is the last effort to get in the groove on the videos. I'm still at D+ but things will get better. I think the sound in a video will help I am not trying to annotate yet in a video I will work on that. http://screenr.com/6mW It looks like ET handles the band width the rference represents. I do not hear the sound on this one.
frenchfry, for working with Excel, if you don't have the data, here is the 5min OHLCV. Time is my local timezone.
The defendant pleads guilty, Your Honor. It should be said though, that the crime was commited under mitigating circumstances, which have to be taken into account. The defendant was fully aware of jumping from up to bottom in this case. Jack, as always very helpful contributions. Thank you very much.It tremendously speeded up the process of putting pieces together for me. On a side note since Kospi and Dax seem to be more or less similar in their behavior (at least as far as their "jumpiness" is concerned), I thought about posting 5 fully annotated Dax charts for critique or general discussions next week. Let me know if this isn't a good idea and would unnecessarily litter the thread.
K200 Day 1, First try. This is the first day of 10. The focus is still on putting two bars into containers, knowing how to treat internals as one bar, when and how to fan, how to handle acceleration, identifying how to handle clusters of internals. It is not yet about volume, pace, gaussians, sequences, etc. Sorry if I'm too slow, but let me first build the foundation. In the next few charts those things will slowly but surely start to appear. Please have a look if you can spot some obvious areas of improvement (sounds maybe better than "mistakes" ) while I work on the next day. Thanks.
One of the reasons why this is such a slow process is that I have to work on a screen shot where I have to add among other things those yellow boxes for the internals. This definitively differentiates your mind if you have to do it all manually. But on the other you better know that you are training your mind with the correct information. Below please find day 2 which only contains yellow boxes for internals. What makes this challenging for a beginner is that those internals can come immediately one after the other. I.e. two bars create a sym, the next bar creates another sym with the internal bar of the first sym, then the next bar creates a stich, followed by a hitch, followed by a hitch, followed by a stich.... etc. That was just an example. I really hope I didn't start to invent anything here and because putting those boxes manually already takes considerable time I better be sure this is correct. It is also important to have this down "cold" when you are in the situation where you need to fan. Please see in enclosed chart all the internals I identified for that day. I see more internals than translation. Thanks
Hi Jack, in yesterday's chart 4 I identified a sym at that time. In your feedback you said that it was NOT a sym. But.... if I look at the nine cases it seems to have all ingredients to be identified as a sym. A larger range bar followed by an inside bar. That's a sym or not? Maybe one, two or three bars later there were maybe clues which would/should have told me not to fan anymore because that was not a sym but a black translation that started at that point in time? How can I identify this in the future (=it's not a sym, stop to fan, start to translate)? Thanks
Even on day 3 there seems to be more yellow than red or black. There must be something wrong!? Zoom into day 3 internals
redduke is making a terrific contribution to ET by running a thread on the k200 and how a person gets "set up" to use it as an instrument to make money. Here we put k200 through its paces to determine if it is an intsturment whereby PEP and the SCT application works on k200. This meant that 17 hours of 24 are filled with trading time to apply SCT with no overlap. Dax is originated in Europe and fits into the time slot not yet used. The implication is that a computer could move from market to market and trade on a given extraction level for each segment of the earth's rotation one after another. Others have already proved in the DAX according to the set up reduke is introducing for k200. Obviously, a lot of platforms and IB's do not have worldwide capability. So an effort has to be made to get computer(s) prepped for such a 24/7 routine. So using this thread from an orientation of gong through the MADA and the six skill levels does have the capability to introduce instrument after instrument where PEP and the SCT application is in order. So go for it. there are a lot of contributors to this thread and it is wonderful to see the mutual help being given to get alll the participant's computers up to snuff to see the markets. The combo of redduke's support for getting computers equipped and then looking at an insrument from both the OODA and MADA viepoint really enriches the the resourse value of ET.
FF I read all your charet work and your comments. I may make a mistake or two but not often. I typed up the solution for moving forward and lost it. So I will retype it. the drift was to gat the nested fractals and the pattern as part of your rules for the M of MADA. Good earnest effort on your part. My compliments.
