LOL... So now you decide who is welcome here and who is not? Guess what, when back in 2008 I wanted to close my FX journal, Baron asked me "why do you want to do that?"... I guess it was his way to say FX is not welcome. :D

Now as for vendors, I do offer some of the services indeed, but to much the same degree as many other ET participants including you, who mention their trading related business without crossing the borderline of spamming or direct advertising. And as long as it fits ET terms & conditions I will keep posting and I hope my posts contain not just "stealth marketing" but also some sense, which is useful for people reading it.

  2. The research has determined that the FX threads attract the trouble to elite trader. We must take measures to mitigate the damage already done to this site by eliminating the Forex Forums and all mentions of that word. The next step is to ban all posters who are clearly stealth vendors and pushing websites, books, etc involving the Forex. Nothing good can come from letting them continue here.

  3. Please see the above confirmation of my views from Mr. Forex himself, electricSavant. Note he calls it "unethical" . Why do the FX threads persist? Why do those who take the name "Forex
not get banned immediately and sent back to trade2win or Piecearmy?

    ES blew up, genius.

"Research" huh? You gonna show it to us?
Maybe maybe not, but I do know for a fact that more than a few members think the same of YOU.

Don't be so full of yourself smurf.

Did you hear such a saying: "Hatred is anger of the weak"? :D

  6. I don't hate stealth vendor-- just concern over the integrity of the content on this site. It was once a haven of knowledge and traders helping traders-- now, its a hive of ulterior motives and fast buck artists-- which careful study has revealed are attracted here due to the FX content. Eliminate the FX content and everyone who is attracted to that ridiculously rigged market and the quality of elite will return. surf

    1. What makes you think FX is worse than any other market? What real experience do you have with it?

    2. Traders helping traders, is that how you call blatantly lying in your journal about opening a position in one month contract and closing in another? :D

Sorry, couldn't resist on the point #2.

Quite a few people say what I post is helpful for them. How many did say the same to you?

  9. While we are undergoing the changes on this board, perhaps now will be the best time to dump the forex threads. Go back to nearly every trolls first post on this site and you will see that they inevitably started with Forex. In other words, Forex drew them to elite trader. By eliminating the "Troll Nectar" that is the Forex, elite will be much easier to moderate and contain much better information overall.

This is an interesting thread, surf. Missed it before. In a way, it's sort of comical since both traderslaboratory and trade2win are much more fx focused. Trade2win is actually sponsored by a fx service.

Elitetrader is actually very good with its content and not focusing on fx. Why it's the best forum out there. I know your concern; fx is a good area to trade but it attracts noobs like flies to ....
