Yeah stocks always move before any of the newservices get it, sometimes they get it on time, but most times when a stock makes a massive move intraday your left scrambling for a couple minutes till the news hits the wires, and alot of times ive seen TWTR quicker to break the news than both my news feeds that i pay 400 bucks a month for, so IMO it is foolish to dismiss TWTR, its one of the most valuable tools you have as a trader if you know how to use it. Being on top of the news is an edge in and of itself, and twtr helps with that.
Twitter? Sounds promising - I suppose than it will depend the time of day and who you are following to get breaking news faster. Any tips on whom to follow on Twitter to get the breaking news?
If your looking to get breaking news on a specific symbol just put a $ sign then the symbol, so if microsoft was cracking and you didnt know why search $MSFT and it will pull all the posts on MSFT. I only have 22 people i follow on twitter, but they dont break news, they just put out trade ideas.
Thanks big time - sounds good. Sometimes in the extended hours when the futures are suddenly going ballistic but I can't find the reason until much later. Will try using Twitter for this.

Yeah I was searching some random symbols on twitter to see how the info comes up, but found there could be some lot distracting or un necessary news as well. But this is one of the option I can use.
You are absolutely right. I found the time I see news is like 2-3 hours after the move. :-( If you dont mind can you share what are the best news subscribtion that I can get into (ONLY FOR SPY) I have option to subscribe to any of the below:
yeah there is alot of stock market pumpers on the feed too, but its pretty easy to filter, just look for a headline in the tweet with a link, dont pay attention to the morons who say "just sold "XYZ" and rebought it right after the crash they are scammers.
Yeah dont bother with all those subscriptions off IB, I subscribe to Flyonthewall.com and tradethenews, as well as briefing.com Dowjones news wire isnt bad off your list. With the spys or the ES though it should be easy to find what caused the pop its almost always economic numbers, if not its something so newsworthy its on CNBC.
Yes, even IB feed gets lot of these. I feel these are distracting and time consuming. Need to learn to ignore them.
