I used to use Esignal but they couldn't get their act together with the eurex feed so I dropped them.

I now use Ensign (or sometimes Quotetracker) with IQFeed, and I pay $60/month for the feed and $40/month for Ensign. I just added their EUREX feed today, so PM me in a few days and I'll let you know how it performed. Their ES and NQ feeds have been quite excellent.

In what sense? It seems to trend and move quite nicely in the pre-US market hours...

The dax is a scarey one because it is not always as tight a spread as the estoxx.

So you think you are up a couple points then suddenly all the bids fall away and you are down 10 !

Usually these are fake outs and it will come right back, but it is scary nevertheless.

  5. Right Funster.
The problem is also that there are some really big swinging dicks, who can sometimes push the price in the direction they like, especially in the morning when no important news are coming out.

But still, if you are good you can make money, but IMHO the Dax is one of the hardest ways to do so.

It's like playing black jack in a casino with multiple decks.

  6. In my opionion the Dax is like a crazy bitch- you can have some fun, can ride it like a devil- but in the end she takes your money, just IMHO. :p

  7. It's easier to get out when you trade the Dax. Because it moves more than Eurostoxx50.

  9. I love crazy bitches.....maybe that is why out of ES, NQ, YM and DAX, I have the best luck with DAX......there is so much trend movement, seems much less chop, truly seems to (mostly) follow ES, and has extremem price swings, that even when wrong, can usually pull myself out of the hole. But thats just me, it certainly aint for the faint of heart!

  10. Dax or Eurostoxx50? I think that in the last week it has been Eurostoxx. Do you agree?
