    The socialdemocrat opposition supports it, and if this tax gains worldwide momentum, we are out of business.

    Finance Minister Peer Steinbrueck, a leader in the SPD, plans to put a demand for a bourse transaction tax in the SPD's campaign programme for the September election, a source close to Steinbrueck told Reuters on Wednesday.
