Germany must be forced out of the Euro Monetary Union.

I will agree with you but for a different reason. I think a country with significant fiscal responsibility like Germany should sever it's EU membership on purpose, not be removed. I know you support the policies of spend and print into oblivion, and the EU is welcome to it as far as I'm concerned. But Germany should escape that madness as much as possible.

  2. Vassiliki Georgiadis, a political-science professor at Athens' Panteion University, said the split was between hard-left MPs — "some of whom have spoken of a Greek exit from the eurozone as the only solution" — and those more sympathetic to Tsipras' arguments.
"Greek exit from the eurozone as the only solution" A lot of Greeks want to. Will they get it?

  3. There's a term called "national interest". It makes your comment on Germany absolutely meaningless.

Yeah, "milking it" by paying billions and billions in subsidies to Greece, Spain, Portugal and others. Naturally, all other European countries are completely selfless. Why even make immature comments like that.

Its clear for all to see germany has to leave or adjust for the good of the eurozone yet it will not to do so while it is the main beneficiary of the euro, rather than making my comment meaningless the term national interest is at the root of the dysfunction here.

If there is going to be a Greek exit it, wouldn't it be far better for Greece if they were joined by other PIGS States? I think that would be far too complex an arrangement, however, to be carried out on the time scale available to the Greeks. The Greeks must be desperate to get their banks up and running on other than an emergency basis. By collectively threatening to break away from the EU as one body, Spain,Italy, Portugal, and Greece could put tremendous pressure on Germany to drop its opposition to the eurobond.

Germany has been supportive with loans and debt restructuring. But they've been recalcitrant with regard to lowering interest rates to where they need to be for the PIGS to afford the level of borrowing they need to jump start their economies. High interest rates are killing Greece and Portugal. Germany, having the strongest economy is able to borrow at low rates. The PIGS desperately need the eurobond.

  8. It is not Germany in default now. It is not Germany begging for money. But Germany should exit EU lol. Everything very logical.

For the group of alike economies to flourish for the reasons already mentioned, yes, why not?

  10. Then what's the solution according to you? Neither PIIGS nor Germany will push for eurozone exit coz it's a feeder. Can circulation of several currencies help it out?
