No it wasn't, the website presented everything properly, you just didn't bother to read the first paragraph that explained what the page was about. If you were honest with yourself, you'd think how many other sources have you interpreted wrong instead of blaming the source. But I know, your reply will be "it doesn't matter", yet you were bothered enough to reply to volpunter, therefore it clearly does matter. You could've just said "oops, my bad", which would've given you much more credibility.
Hey, it's volly's buddy! Called in for reinforcements! Would you like the link to the "oops my bad" comments that I made? It came right before you made "observations" on beach destinations, but didn't have a source either (but claimed since it was just said "observations" you didn't have to).
Yeah and it's ridiculous and outright absurd to cite HIV infection percent changes in relationship to austerity. What's next? Greeks had to switch from heroin to crystal meth because of austerity and higher silk road route prices from Afghanistan because of bad Americans?
I'm not commenting on whether they are directly attributable to austerity, just clarifying what Ditch was going for.
The fact that it's impossible for you to have any empathy for the suffering of Greek people speaks for itself. I guess you can't be bothered by such trivialities cause you're too busy producing high quality products, the rest of the world craves for so much. Still, as you may know or not, the austerity measures hit hardest with the weakest: the poor and elderly. Due to austerity measures 800,000 people are without basic medical care and social security. The numbers I posted are directly related to that and in response to a comment by Tsing Tao about the sacrifice of human lives. Also it's quite like you to comment on the HIV-numbers and not on the data regarding infant-mortality and suicides.
Show me people in Greece who truly suffer as a direct result of austerity. Where are they? Where are the pensioners that lost it all due to austerity? Those who are shown on media are poor chaps that had no dime in their pockets for the past 20 years. If you can show then I will show compassion. Before I am glad that Europe is squeezing the balls of those liars and cheaters as hard as possible. Ps: are you seriously suggesting that issues with basic medical care can be attributed to austerity and not a gross and missallocation of resources domestically by the Greek government? I am asking because I can name you a 100 other services in Greece that are well maintained and operational but of much lower priority than health care.
"The borrower is signing an agreement that he/she understands what he/she is doing and agrees to repay debt...." This reminded me that you can steal more money with a pen than a gun.
On one hand not repaying debt and being irresponsible seems to be some sort of funny event to you. But then you and your kind are at the same time shedding crocodile tears for ,what was it, billions of Greeks that were pushed into unbelievable suffering by evil Germans. It sounds all very contradictory. Please help us, is it a clown event and we should all just smirk and move on or comically tragic or which one is it? I am asking because most Europeans give the impression that they are fed up with Greeks. But hey, anyway by tomorrow we will have another deal on the table can can move on to other topics for another 2-3 years.
