Georgia's reopening is a high-stakes public health bet -- and will likely please Trump

First of all moron... R0 is not universal.....
We already did this twice. Both times I have proven this to you...

Do you realize what a fucking moron a person is who refuses to accept science.... and then while refusing to learn... flips the argument on the other person...

But... I will prove it again...

A.... This is what you wrote...

"Do you understand that there is only one Rnaught figure that applies to ALL of humanity. There is not one Rnaught figure for low risk people and a different Rnaught figure for high risk people. Until you state that you clearly understand this and accept it as undisputed fact then it is not even worth having a discussion with you."

And this is one of many proofs to show you you are wrong...

    B. R0 for TB ranges throughout the world from... .23 in the Netherlands to 4.3 in China..

Quantifying TB transmission: a systematic review of reproduction number and serial interval estimates for tuberculosis

The reproductive number and serial interval (SI) are two key quantities in describing transmission of an infectious disease. The reproductive number is defined as the average number of secondary cases a primary infectious case will produce. In a totally susceptible population, it is referred to as the basic reproductive number (R0)....

    ....

Two hundred and thirty-seven articles were identified for the reproductive number of TB. Additionally, 6 articles were included based on reviewing titles and abstracts of the articles that were referenced in the 237 articles, making the total number of articles 243. Fifty-six articles met our inclusion criteria and are described below. Three articles used either approximate Bayesian or exact likelihood methods, 24 articles used either a mathematical model fit with empirical data or a descriptive/regression approach on empirical data, and 29 articles used a simulation based mathematical model (Figure 3). Explicit estimates were extracted and summarized in Figure 4. The estimates range from as low as 0.26 for the Netherlands in 1993-2007 to as high as 4.3 in China in 2012.

This proves once again that you still don’t know the difference between Rnaught which is the reproduction rate at time zero with no mitigation and R which is the reproduction rate at time T with mitigation.

More proof that extreme liberals were promoting massive hysteria and panic and nothing more.
It is not because of the science but, to try and damage President Donald Trump. So, like the Javits Center which had 2,910 beds closed after very few patients were treated there. Yet, Cuomo sent Corona Virus infected patients to convalescent homes where seniors living there died needlessly. Ineptitude at its highest point.

First of all moron... the experts used the term R0 - it was not me using it... you are arguing once again with experts and science.

The chart and the article show the R0 of TB from multiple countries over multiple time periods.. and they deemed their number R0 not Re (the effective rate was also discussed in the article.)

So, once again you are the moron claiming the experts are confused and your crazy idea that R0 is universal is correct...

The chart shows the R number in location for TB — not R0. Even the article you posted outlines the difference between R0 and R.

you are so annoying in your argumentation...
its like gotcha on a kindergarten level when you should just be admitting you were wrong.

The article references the is R0 - the reproductive rate....
the article refers you to figure 4 and it matches...

0.26 for the Netherlands in the article... 0.26 in the chart.

Quiz to check for how much brain damage you have...

    Is a range from .26 to 4.3

    a. a universal number
    b. not a universal number but a range.
