Politicians make political statements. That's the business they're in. They're never going to stop making political statements.

And the step they took did not punish any company. It made the state gov't tax policy neutral.

I read your comment above but didn't quite follow what you meant. Can you give a couple examples to make it clear what you have in mind here. Thanks.

You see it all the time on Facebook or other social media where someone, right out in the open with their full name, has to get their point heard no matter what the consequences and then ends up getting fired, or loses a contract or sponsorship, etc.

People should be able to say what they want without fear of reprisal but the fact of the matter is we don't live in a tolerable society that allows that. So people who want to speak their mind or have dialogue have to (or rather should) go incognito.

It doesn't matter what they did in reality. Because they made a stupid statement, it will forever be interpreted as punishment.

  5. Yes. Just look at Kathy Griffin. She made a strong political statement (despicable one, unfortunately) and look what it cost her...

That's an example, yes. Though there are examples of this stupidity on both sides.

Fred, I see you smiling at Scat but that can't be possible.

It doesn't matter if it was or wasn't at this point. It will be assumed that it is.

  10. Tsing Tao... the near perfect example of dumbass decoy taking attention away from important matters.

Did someone say he is a CFO? Am I dreaming? Perhaps he is hoping to get voted on the NRA board?

Anyone know if he has facial hair? :)
