So apparently your claim is that any black person supporting the need to show Picture ID at the polling booth is just a slave. I disagree. Many states have Voter Picture ID requirements. Many of these requirements are supported by people of all races. Both Scott and Owens make very valid points about the new voting law in Georgia... especially in view that many other states have stricter requirements.
you seemed to be on board for a hot minute until you turned on Fox. That scalp been itchy lately? You miss your hat?
No my claim is Owens and Scott are Uncle Toms following orders from Master. The GA law is also about more than just voter ID.
I will say that there are portions of the Georgia law I agree with and portions I disagree with. The reality is that the laws in many other states are more strict than Georgia when it comes to early voting days, etc. Why aren't these other states including New York being criticized for having more strict voting regulations than Georgia.
States like NY aren't changing their laws in response to The Republican Party losing elections because of black voters.
The question you should be asking is why is Georgia following terrible lib-run NY if they proclaimed to the president to have the most secure election in history? NY state has not always been run by democrats and legacy law often stays put (for instance look at immigration quotas, and corporate tax rates). And even if election law in NY was set by dems, it's no excuse to scrap laws that may have been better in GOP ran GA, it just means NY has work to do. This has been GOP strategy for years, I'm surprised you still fall for it. GOP passes terrible measure, finds some whataboutism from Obama or dem states that "justifies" said terrible measure and runs with it on fox. Never mind the nuances.
So 20 state have a picture voter id requirement for voting. 13 states have a voter id requirement. Explain to us why these other states are not under the same pressure to change their regulations as Georgia. Especially since most of them have less early voting days than Georgia and other more restrictive measures than Georgia. https://ballotpedia.org/Voter_identification_laws_by_state
Media reach, social media sharing of news, a state moving from zero early voting days to x # of days as improvement of prior voting laws, etc, etc.. Like I said, nuance fox never bothers with when making whataboutism narratives
