You are giving nothing to me. There is not a single book about trading in a library that I did not read. And again, do me a favor and do not read any of the threads I start. But I know you would read them, despite my wishes you do not read them. If you read them, that would be proof that the thread is useful even to you, who say it is not, as otherwise why would you read them? Is this the conclusion I should draw from your posts: are you bothered that you do not know something I may know that you may not know? I believe in "do not give me an answer, pose to me the right important question ". Even better " Do not give me an answer, and do not pose the right question, teach me how to pose the right important questions". I am more interested to read questions than to read answers.
---You are giving nothing to me. --- you not paying attention- http://books.google.com/books?id=1F...ctangle&f=false page 3 in this thread.. have you read it? cause if you did-you shouldn't have any further questions regarding 'geometrical trading' or your questions will be VERY SPECIFIC. who is this guy? your relative or something: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=279531 cause his questions are exact same as yours..
Maybe the book did not lead to any further questions for you? if so, it may not be true for another leader. If a book leads me to "no further questions" it is a catastrophe. If ahead of time I know that a book does not lead to questions, I would never read it. Again I look for questions not for answers. I would add this: Either I read the book you mentioned or I did not. If I did, then you statement I did not read is not true. And I did not read it then it means I came up with original questions at the level of a book that you may have paid to read.
----But I know you would read them, despite my wishes you do not read them. If you read them, that would be proof that the thread is useful even to you, who say it is not, as otherwise why would you read them? --- Dude...i can retire today on money that i've made from trading. you can relax...there is nothing valuable\useful for me in your (and 99% of others) threads to me ET is entertainment. a place where i go after i got bored starring at my screens or taking a break from programming.
Money can beget money. But money cannot beget knowledge on its own. That is why there are people who pay to have their name on building dedicated to knowledge, and I respect those people because after making a lot of money they realize that knowledge has a higher value than money. Then do not read them- but I doubt you will not read them. If you say it is entrainment, then it is value to you.
one more time-if you know at least SOMETHING about the subject-your questions would be different. i don't see it. all i see is lame-hey! anybody use it? where can i read more about it?(this is coming from the guy,who just claimed that he read EVERY book about trading). you are contradicting to yourself..
http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=279387 first page of this thread is all any trader (successful or not) need. books,schmucks..you can spend a whole entire life reading them without any positive outcome.
If you have money, why don't you take a class on research in your close by university or give a fellowship to a student so he can do some research on a topic you like? You would learn that at the heart of research and human knowledge are questions (and not answers as your you seem to think). In some fields the search of questions is presented as a hypothesis. People spend time and money just to ascertain whether a question is important/relevant. A hypothesis may not even be a right question, but time and money is spent just to put it in a short list of potential questions.
----If you have money, why don't you take a class on research in your close by university or give a fellowship to a student so he can do some research on a topic you like?--- cause i can do it myself.cause i've seen plenty of people, who would grab your idea and just run away with it..if you think that US stock market is HUGE-here is the news for you-it's not.and it's getting smaller and smaller every single day
Actually his assumptions are pretty much true. You've been caught changing trade entries after the fact. You're $100 FX journal blew up in your face. And you've been here asking for trading handouts since you joined ET. You ARE too lazy to even Google a few words.
