  6. Congrats to Kasey Khane for winning the The Golden Corral 500. Kasey's win provides Dodge their first victory at Atlanta since Richard Petty in 1977.

    Jeff Gordon finished Fourth.
Bill Lester finished the race 38th (six laps down).

  7. I think he had his name on that race. It's too bad. Two unfortunate instances. Even after being a lap down, which he got back racing and not lucky dog bs, he made it back up to 5th or 4th before the vibration.

Robby is on his way to displaying his well rounded talent now in Cup... and being his own team owner, ta boot!

  10. Thought I'd nip this in the bud before someone decides to create a non-issue. NASCAR Unofficial Results show Bill Lester receiving zero points for The Atlanta race. The #23 Waste Management Chevy (Bill Lester's team) was a PE [Post Entry] for the race at Atlanta and didn't get credited Drivers/Owners Points. Teams need to have the entry blank into NASCAR 13 days before the race (3-20-2006). Otherwise, they receive no Driver / Owner Points for that race. Bill still collects his $65,985 dollars for finishing 38th (6 laps down). I hope that eliminates any misunderstandings (intentional or otherwise) which may have resulted.
