Robbie Gordon just announced on "Race Day" that he's gonna race on that show "Pinks"... Possibly with a nascar car. That'll be cool to watch.
Two comments on today's race. Tony's his own damn worst enemy. If Kenseth had some balls(*note) and pinched Johnson to the wall... ...Anybody but Johnson. Oh well... next week. *note: Kenseth says to his team...Sorry guy's you deserve better than me...
The REAL winning driver in the season opener of F1 was KIMI. starts last and gets on the podium with a THIRD place finish. Who says you can not pass in F1? Formula one is about RACING not crashing. The fastest car and driver are the winners. Takes skill and guts to drive like Kimi, caution flags in F1 are almost an non-event, rain, so what, motor on. For a race to stop is a rare event, racing is F1, F1 is racing. Here is hoping we have a safe and wonderful season. Kimi has had tons of bad luck last season and starting out this season. He is better than Olonso and Shummie, they say about Kimi, NO FEAR and NO Limit, coming from the rear to third in first race serves notice, he and Mer Benz Team is alive and well. Great race today, next week Malaysia, then Australia. round the world she goes..........
Before today's race started, I wondered whether Tony had taken his medication or not. After watching Stewart screw around with Kyle Busch during the race, I felt perhaps Tony had missed a dose or two. I'm not altogether sure what thoughts went through Tony's head, but he hurt himself today acting like an idiot. Congrats to Hendrick Motorsports for a strong finish (Hendrick Drivers placed First, Third and Fifth). Somebody needs to tell Jack Roush that his drivers need to be strong at the end of the race, and not just at the beginning. Although it pains me to say it, Congrats to the #48 team for another victory. - Spydertrader
You have to admit, some of these wrecks are wicked awesome - especially since no fatalities occurred. - Spydertrader
I missed the part where Tony apparently messed up his car. I did see him all over the 5, I think he was pissed Kyle was holding him up. I was fully expecting some extracurricular action heading to the inspection area. Maybe Tony really is on meds. Agree about Kenseth. What a pussy he is. You could hear DW biting his tongue. Does anyone think Johnson would have passed the 3 car like that heading to the checker? I f*cking doubt it. For that matter, he 'd be missing half his car if he tried it with the 16 or the 20. Kenseth will have to live with this one for a long time. And as for "anybody but johnson", you got that right. Then he's squealing like a girl, knowing full well he was on the in car cam. All in all, another hideously boring "race", at least until the last lap. They hsould blow up all those 1 1/2 mile tracks except for Atlanta and Charlotte. They are ruining NASCAR. I can't even imagine actually going to one of them and sitting through the race. I see more exciting driving on the Washington Beltway.
Wonder if Chad is sweating at home or not? Two wins and a second w/out him... all w/out "modifications"! That would be something if Jimmie had a couple DNF's when Chad comes back! Nothing against Jimmie, just tired of seeing hiim up top every race. Congrats to his fill-in crew chief. The Vegas track is being bulldozed to construct 20 degree banking from 12 after this race I believe.
Good. Not only will the change in banking provide a more exciting race (See HomeStead), but Tony Stewart will have something else to cry about instead of Kyle Busch. - Spydertrader
