You can check the video replay to form your own opinion, but to me, the even bigger story is the un - [insert favorite expletive here] - ing believable meltdown of Joe Gibbs Racing since the chase began. Arguably the dominant team heading into the season's final ten races, JGR has undergone a complete and total collapse since Richmond. WTF?? - Spydertrader
Kyle was the only JGR guy to be winning races. He had a couple of tough races at the worst possible time. If I'm him now, I'm looking for a good chance to take Edwards out. I can't imagine the chemistry on the 20 team is very good. Zip seems to be totally through with Smoke. Logano does not look ready for Cup. He's marginal for Nationwide.
this is why i HATE the chase format. One driver can be dominant and it doesn't matter. This is also why i LOVE the chase format.....a fan can have a driver like Gordon or Biffel do nothing for 20 races and then POOF! back on the hunt...at least biffel is.
Hey, AAA, it's Jimmie that they all need to watch out for. Forget the Roush guys - they're going to do well, but Jimmie is a powerhouse. Having said that, I hate the guy and think he's a total and complete phony, but he's still a killer. This is why the chase sucks - it was fun to watch the back half of the top ten scratch and claw their way in, and there really could be a race this year for the top spots without the reset of points. Kyle had his bad luck at the wrong time.

Pretty wild action there digging for the line. Wonder how NASCAR would have ruled if it had been Kyle leading and Dale Jr. or Edwards instead of Regan smith, a rookie? I don't see how anyone could claim Smoke didn't force the kid below the line. Maybe his option was to back off and get back in line. I find it odd that no one seems to even understand the rule. WTF was Edwards thinking hitting Biffle in the corner? Got to be a tough day at the Roush garage. Maybe Edwards thought it was the 18 instead of the 16 in front of him.
I wish that Regan would have gotten the win, for no other reason than a Tony temper tantrum would have been so much fun!
