  1. Can't agree with this.

Jr pinched down, but was in control. Busch clearly got in too hot and the nose pushed up into Jr. It looked to me that even if Jr hadn't pinched down, Busch STILL would have gotten into Jr.

Agree totally with the assessment about Hamlin though. He should have pulled off. Whether or not it was a team move could be debated though.

Funniest event of the day was Michael Waltrip's little event. Guy got into him and he just buried the throttle and pushed him down the track. Take a seat Mikey!! LMAO !!!

    Agree with that.

    And that too.

It's amazing how someone/team can be on a roll for a while and then it's gone. Gordon started last year so well then hit a lull in the middle of the year and then ran well again in the chase - unfortunately Johnson ran even better.

Darrell's probably thinking either "Mikey, Mikey what are you doing?" or "Yeah, Mikey, way to go".:)

Did NASCAR penalize Michael for it?

  7. Another funny thing - did anyone catch the look on Kyle's face just after the race when one of Jr's crewmen was down there yelling at him?

The dude looked to be about 6'8" and around 260. Kyle looked like a deer caught in the headlights. He must have been thinkin', "oh shit, I may have f'ed up for sure now, I'm gonna get my ass kicked."

    LMAO.....

  8. I wached the vid and I just did not see the front wheel of the 18 turn at all. I don't know what Larry Mac was talking about. The car did seem to go to the right after contact, but he was trying to save the car then.

Junior couldn't run on the bottom, so he left the door wide open. He was as much if not more to blame as Kyle. Junior Nation needs to get over it. Their act is getting a little stale.

None of the other Hendrick drivers is going to retaliate on Junior's behalf. Clearly Gordon and Johnson resent him being there in the first place, and Mears is hanging on to his ride by his fingernails and needs points, not trips to the NASCAR hauler for suspensions. NASCAR is certainly not going to allow anyone to rough up its hottest driver, Kyle Busch. Truth be told, the NASCAR suits were ecstatic over the ending to Richmond, although they no doubt would have preferred to see Junior win. But it was a hard fought side by side down to the wire deal that had everyone on their feet and still talking about it.

  9. And in my not so humble opinion, all that exciting racing (and finish) made Richmond the best race of the year. Hell, even Gordo and Letarte finally fixed a FUBAR-ed car and roared back from 43rd place to 9th!

    On to Darlington!!
