IndyCar Series Danica Patrick became the first female winner in IndyCar history Sunday, taking the Indy Japan 300 after the top contenders were forced to pit for fuel in the final laps.
The damn trophy is almost as tall as Danica.
Cup Series Did Kyle Bush make an illegal pass (below the yellow line) to win the 2008 Aarons 499? It was close. It did look like after Johnson moved up he started to move back down again maybe to block Busch. But it was too late as Busch already had his nose in there. It looked like Johnson bumped Busch as he came back down and Busch moved below the line to avoid Johnson. I think it's usually hard to tell what NASCAR is going to do because they seem to be inconsistent. Were you pulling for Jr? It's been a long time between wins. I thought after he joined Hendricks that he would have a win by now. At least he's had more consistently high finishes than the last few years. I think he'll get at least one this year.
Shrub truly looked forced down to me. I would have let'm race. Now the Lepage event in the NW race, WOW. What a boob -- glad he was able to man-up after seeing the tape. JB
It was close. Busch went below the line before Johnson squeezed him, but he didn't pass anyone. Johnson moved him down further. Then Johnson moved up and Busch passed him. Glad I didn't have to make the call. Had to be a sweet victory for Kyle to beat the 48 and 24.
