  1. Was Johnson complaining that Gordon didn't stick with him? I didn't hear that. I don't think he has a complaint. It's not like Gordon hung him out to finish 15th. Johnson was on the bottom with fast cars pushing him. It was Gordon who took the risk. If Stewart had managed to drive around him and hook up with the Penske train, Gordon could have been out of the top 10.

  2. "I wasn't happy with getting passed, but that would have been the situation with anybody," said Johnson, who finished second. "To get that close and not win is a letdown. There must have been stuff going on behind me that I couldn't see, but Jeff could in his mirror, and he pulled up and got in front of the 20 [Stewart] and was able to take advantage of that push."

  3. Yeah, great race.

I was surprised that Stewart didn't follow Jeff to 2nd place after that shot he gave him that put Jeff in the lead. Too agressive. He should have stayed there and tried a dive to the inside/down and go ahead of Jeff with only 200 yds to go. At least then he would have had a shot. But he shuffled his own cards and got what he got.

And Gordon/Johnson - great team racing there to get Jimmy to the front. Jeff did the right thing too - got Jimmy out front and made his bid for the win at the right time. Nice professionalism, unlike Hamlin.

And Dale Jr, how many engine blow ups has he had this year? 5 ?
Gotta believe he'll be glad to be gone after this year's fiascoes...
