Nope. I'm saying that for something to absolutely exist, as Peterson claims dragons do, then they must obviously exist.

    Step by step then...
Peterson states that dragons (in non metaphorical terms btw) absolutely exist.
Nevertheless by definition, for something to absolutely exist, it must exist - completely and without qualification.
You're saying not everything that exists is obvious. That's a qualification. Obvious / not obvious - making qualifications of a thing's existence.
Therefore according to you, dragons do not exist absolutely (completely and without qualification) as Peterson claims they do.

I'm just trying to point out how strange to be in such awe of someone as you seem to be with Peterson, while at the same time (correctly tho unwittingly in my view) you are directly contradicting him.

"ABSOLUTELY DOES exist" .... you see the problem with that yet?
For that to be true it must at least be obvious.

It really doesn't... starting from a faulty and frankly silly premise as in this case, which incidentally Peterson does a lot of on many issues, is not what smart and intelligent people like he undoubtedly is, do, without there usually being some ulterior motive.

Didn't you just tell me ....

Talking articulately, fluently and charismatically on interesting points is not the same thing as value. Perhaps you should have interpreted the "nothing of value to say" comment in that context.

There are plenty of measured and reasoned critiques opposing Peterson's claims and viewpoints out there, which do illustrate the ways in which he is often being utterly inconsistent and illogical and even downright toxic and extreme when asked to expand on particular opinions. Leading him to being dubbed a "Self-Help Reactionary Guru and Accidental Incel Intellectual".

  6. Jordan Peterson is currently in rehab coming down from some powerful anti anxiety medication. His wife is cancer stricken and apparently he has not been dealing with that very well. It's one thing to tell your patients what to do, something entirely different when it's your turn in the barrel. I wish him well in his recovery and may he come out of it a bit more humble. Other than calling out the nonsense of leftist ideology I don't agree with him on much else, but all ideas about creation, every single one of them, are nothing but theory. Believe what you will.
