the default genesis servers only allow quotes on 2 symbols. this is because they primarily want people to co-locate rather than pull all the quotes over the internet. you can receive alternate servers from them to test on larger groups of symbols if you contact them directly, but ultimately they'll probably remind you they want you to co-locate in order to do that.
