Josh Kraushaar: “Republicans are growing increasingly worried that President Trump’s shaky political position will not just cost them the presidency, but also sweep in a Democratic Senate majority and further diminish their House minority. The latest round of polling shows the president losing to Joe Biden, as well as Democrats gaining ground in red-state Senate seats that once looked like long shots, from Georgia to Montana to Kansas. There’s a growing chance that Democrats may capture control of the Senate with a seat or two to spare.” “The current political environment is reminiscent of 2008, two years after Democrats swept control of the House and Senate under President George W. Bush. It’s mostly remembered for Barack Obama’s historic election, but the Democrats’ downballot dominance was just as remarkable. Riding deep dissatisfaction with GOP leadership, Democrats expanded their Senate majority to a near filibuster-proof margin and won House seats in some of the most reliably conservative territory in the country.”
Now, let's move from this pile of something and propaganda to a real life. We had special elections yesterday. In CA (!!!), Republican Garcia defeated Democrat candidate Christy Smith by 12 points in the special election for the seat previously held by Democrat Rep. Katie Hill who resigned in disgrace in October 2019. In Wisconsin, Republican Tom Tiffany easily beat Democrat Tricia Zunker by 15 points for the seat vacated by Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI). Both were heavily supported by the President.
Prior to Katie Hill, Republican kept that seat since 1993, she won during the Dem wave. Yesterday's election had turnout way down as well. Wisconsin seat was another solid Republican seat. Just because it's CA, doesn't mean Republicans don't win there, Nunes is a CA Republican. Talking about swing states and districts isnt propaganda, posting safe red seats as an indicator for future is.
The demonrats in Cali still have ballot harvesting so get ready for the Mike Garcia Loses headline...
"To those hurting, I'm so sorry for your loss. The nation grieves with you." Biden "I think we did a great job" Trump Trump sent out 1,795 tweets in the months of January and February and not a single one of them was to warn Americans about the pandemic even after he was briefed on how widespread and deadly it was predicted to be. But he did manage to send out a few hundred tweets to gossip about the nonsense he watched on TV
California probably, has the most number of illegals (foreigners) in our voting rolls because they were purposely, added to the voting rolls. That is why Republicans in their own bastions in Orange County, all 8 of them ended up losing their elections during the midterms. Secretary State of California has repeatedly, refused calls to clean up the voting rolls of dead people and illegals (foreigners). This is happening in other states too.
Ruy Teixeira notes the magnitude of the 2016-to-2020 shift of older voters from Republicans to Democrats could mirror the shift among voters from Barack Obama in 2012 to Donald Trump in 2016. “The bipartisan States of Change project estimates that Mrs. Clinton lost this group by around 15 points. By contrast, the nonpartisan Democracy Fund + U.C.L.A. Nationscape survey, which has collected over 108,000 interviews of registered voters since the beginning of the year, has Mr. Biden leading among seniors by about six points. We are looking at a shift of over 20 points in favor of the Democrats among a group that should be at least a quarter of voters in 2020.”
