How did Geithner ever become president of the New York Fed, anyway? He doesn't even have a masters in economics, let alone a PhD.

Whose cock did he suck for that job?

  4. Actually he does have a masters in economics. He had worked for both Republicans and Democrats and his family had a history of public service as well; so he was well connected.

Greenspan must have okayed his appointment in 2003.

The likely truth is that the Fed has done some unorthodox things to try to reflate the system, including some things that arguably exceeds its legal authority.

In all likelihood, it is lying about its balance sheet, and the market value of its assets is actually much less than its liabilities.

It is also likely that connected members of the elite have profited by front running the Fed not only recently, but for decades.

But right now they have a gun to our heads, and are daring us: Expose our swindling, and we'll bring the whole system down.

I don't like pushing my political agenda onto people too much unless it's necessary but Ron Paul is someone who has basically been acting as a sworn enemy against the Federal Reserve for a good couple of decades now. If you want something done about these guys, I'd say vote for him in the next election and vote for anyone who is sided with him because you'll have something done about the fed just by doing that if you let them know your on their side.

Ignore the stupid conspiracy theorists, even Ron Paul does and he actually said that they give the Federal Reserve to much credit because the only thing stopping us from finding everything out about them is the audit bill not getting passed. They're not this 'all powerful' organization that's taking over the world. Even if there were, there are hundreds upon thousands of countries and faction trying to do the exact same thing.

Simply not paying taxes could have actually worked, it's a shame no one had the balls to go through with it because it would be far more effective and politically damaging to the fed and the U.S government if they had than a mere audit.

  10. This is exactly what China wants. They want the fed to be audited, the information released will outrage the international community and drop the dollar for IMF notes.

Then the US policymakers will be at the mercy of China and turn this country communist. You can already see that China has made very strong moves in that regard so far within our government. Just look at the stimulus package. It was one massive social engineering program.
