  2. Humpy

    Humpy

Sort of amusing to see US fatcats trying to cosy up to Beijing.

They gonna keep themselves rolling in wealth post USA dominance, no matter at whose cost.

At least you guys haven't been lumbered with 1960s Marxist/Leninist incompetents we got here

Our top man Mr. Dump ( err Brown ) keeps insisting that much needed taxpayers money be given to the 3rd world. Let them get off their fat arses and earn it , I reckon !!

  3. Admittedly, things look tenuous and only a fool would have no concern. Since you guys are consummate complainers, what solution would you prescribe, aside from sticking your head in the sand?

  5. Too bad little Timmy didn't follow his own advise on that one. Only six months into this administration, and already he has used up all of his credibility.

  6. Really? So after all that has happened, you still don't think regulation needs some starch? Fascinating.

As for the taxation part, it is the Democrats' intention to rebalance the socioeconomic imbalance perpetrated by the Bush administration. This was their platform and is what Americans voted for in large number. Unless you're rich, I would think you could live with that. And if you are rich, well, then, you can live with it as well -- your coffers have filled nicely during Bush's reign. Bush's policies were creating the beginnings of a Third World disparity.

  7. Well, to be fair........our highest ranked pro-tax tax dodger (besides Chuck Rangel) came in with so little of it that running out is not that notable.

  8. It never ceases to amuse me that the taxpayer believes lawmakers are there in DC to do our bidding. What a joke. They say what they have to say to get elected.

There is no law requiring lawmakers to listen to the people. There is no recourse against lawmakers doing their own bidding.

The notion of public servants in politics is a fallacy.

  9. You guys are NUTS!

    1. If we default, nearly all American citizens will be bankrupted.

    2. Potential lenders in the future will want sky-high interest rates because of our "proven and historical default risk".

  10. Thunderpoo....you forget that I lived in countries where all this "equalization" happened in full force.

    The result?

95% were way poorer than the poor in Alabama (one of America's poorest states). The poorest and middle class suffered the most. the 5% that were either in government and able to bully people to get what they want or had friends in high places (whom they usually purchased) lived like kings. Inequality increased and so did poverty.

So, please, find someone else to peddle your Marxist bullshit to.
