greed is negative emotion. it is no good. fear (the opposite of greed) is also a negative emotion. it is equally no good. You will be making foolish stupid decision with negative emotion. we need to centre our mind to achieve neutral emotion. with mind centred, we will be able to make wise smart decision.
Staying/following with the trend is great in theory; cutting losses early is great when speculating, but it all seems like a fallacy, not the entire truth but just a piece. 95% of traders spout the same nonsense, while 95% of traders fail at trading profitably long term; and if only there was such a thing as "perfect timing" please enlighten me. Its fickle and elusive when I try to apprehend it
Controlled greed is definitely required. I don't think anyone can be successful in this business without it.
