It means traders should build and work on model trains. Working on model trains sure beats hanging around dumb, hyped up, zombies on social media...or staring at adult content wishing you were magically there. I'm a simple, basic, guy. Everyone should, just, trade the S&P, SPX....buy simple, basic, calls and puts only....either bet up, or bet down, when you think a move direction will happen. and close the position direction when you think it will reverse or stop. Straddles, strangles, butterflies, spreads, commodities, futures...those are all alien language to me.
Come on now...Yer an options trader. Surely you have dabbled in those bits and know a bit of it? In futures there are also butterflies, condors, spreads and the like, and even though I am a basic directional guy like you, I know the basics of them. Live a little!
Yeah well, every later manifestation of the original Star Trek series sucks too imo.... no one cares. 7. Elton John Platinum albums: 27 Multi-platinum: 14 Diamond: 1 Best-selling album: “Greatest Hits” (17 million copies) Top that Picard.
Well, you shouldn't "be simple". Base hits my friend... not home runs. And that's what those advanced startegies do for you. No home runs.... just a steady stream of base hits.
Why sing Rocketman in that fancy new Picard when you can sing it in the original Kirk! To be, or not to be...
But what if you're a....talented...home run hitter...and great at realizing, and picking, general direction moments? Not to sound egotistical or anything, but that's my personality and style and understanding and talent. As opposed to playing it safer for much smaller gains, using weird, messy, complex strategies that nearly just delivers break-even, marginal, profits. No offense to anyone, but those weird, messy, complex options plays....are for people who can't pick and trade, but are constantly sitting on the fence, sidelines.
