Van as they say in Italy. Elys Game Technology, mi fa venire voglia di puntarmi una pistola alla testa
I told ya Friday Stoney, money is getting moved around this week. Tech and high PE stocks in general.... sell em. When you see Smuckers up 6% in 5 days, that's a better indicator than the Vix. We've all heard of a bear trap.... this one's a bull trap. Sell everything but value Stoney. As GVZ used to say to a squirming young VZ regarding choirs translating Latin to English after Vatican II... "Al doilea vers se înrăutățește și mai mult " It rhymed in English.
nice to see a little pop for XAIR after hours. looks like it was another insider buy that did it: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001641631/000149315221020441/xslF345X03/ownership.xml Beyond Air Inc NASDAQ: XAIR 7.58 USD −0.28 (3.56%)today Closed: Aug 17, 7:56 PM EDT After hours 8.34 +0.76 (10.03%)
hey, do any fellow coupang CPNG holders have a good understanding of the lock up dates. seems we just went through one (2nd trading day following 2nd fiscal results), and now we have something coming in september. the 180 day lock up? soft bank can sell all their shares? i'm going to dig into it, but if any one has anything, let me know. i'm going to put aside some money in case this thing goes on a fire sale, but also want to make sure i know the details.
There was a big one last Friday. I thought it was the last one. Do you have a link to this thing in Sept? Mama mia! ELYS up 10% Stoney!
bloomberg has a good article on some of softbank's current difficulties (quoted below). i believe softbank can start selling their coupang share in september, but i want to go through the paperwork to make sure about that. right now i just have this old article that says it https://investorplace.com/2021/04/could-softbanks-recent-success-be-undoing-cpng-stock/ __________ https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/a...iquidate-assets-to-meet-its-growing-debt-pile "The last time SoftBank’s current ratio was this low, in September 2018, it got out of the hole by offloading shares, including the $4 billion sale of its position in Indian e-commerce startup Flipkart, as well as stakes in U.S. and Japanese telecom operators T-Mobile US Inc. and SoftBank Corp. At that time, the company also used its holdings of Nvidia Corp. — bought in the open market well before the Arm deal — and Alibaba as backing for more loans. But most of those assets are unavailable now. SoftBank could keep borrowing against Alibaba, but that well is almost dry. Instead, it will likely need to offset the most liquid of its holdings, which include a $5.6 billion stake quietly built in Amazon.com Inc., $812 million of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., and$702 millionin PayPal Holdings Inc." Then there are the unicorns. Most of the big names in the Vision Fund have already listed — among the most recent being the June offering of Chinese ride-sharing provider Didi Global Inc., food-delivery operator DoorDash Inc. and Coupang. SoftBank still holds onto its stakes in these companies, but that will need to change as debt payments loom."
PFE also seems on the rise for the last month. There is a lot of OI in calls in the option chain. Maybe people bet on a catch-up to MRNA?
ok, took my xair profits. i know, i know, it's going to keep climbing and then get its approval and go to the moon and i shouldn't sell etc...but i've done decently swing trading this one. honestly, i put in a sell order this morning to make sure i sold--probably wouldn't have sold right this moment otherwise as it looks to be climbing still.
