GVA gets another contract, but all these contracts have already been recorded on the books. ++++++++++++++++++ Granite Awarded $64 Million Road Separation Contract in Southern California Granite (NYSE:GVA) has been awarded a $64 million contract for the Jurupa Road Grade Separation project by the Riverside County Transportation Department in Jurupa Valley, California. The contract award was included in Granite’s second quarter committed and awarded projects (CAP). The scope of work includes separating Jurupa Road and the Union Pacific Railroad by constructing a grade separation and relocating existing rail spurs. As the daily vehicle traffic and train count continues to grow, the grade separation will improve community safety by mitigating traffic congestion, decreasing emergency vehicle response time, and reducing air pollution. “We are happy to continue our long-established relationships with both the Riverside County Transportation Department and the Union Pacific Railroad,” said Granite Regional Vice President, Brad Williams. “We look forward to enhancing safety and improving the roadway conditions for community members and the driving public.” Construction is expected to begin in August 2021 and anticipated for completion in August 2023. Beyond Air Xair reported earnings and did a conference call today. Transcript of call: https://seekingalpha.com/article/44...i-on-q1-2022-results-earnings-call-transcript I tried pulling out some useful dates: 1) They anticipate hearing about the FDA approval for lungfit use on newborns end of September. They sound really confident about this. If approved: "The first major conference following the expected timeline for FDA approval is the AARC or American Association for Respiratory Care in Phoenix in early November. And so, we are targeting that meeting as the first introduction of LungFit PH to the world." 2) Currently in pilot trial for lungfit use for acute viral pneumonia (including Covid) in adults. Have released some findings, plan to release further findings in upcoming, as yet unnamed, scientific meeting. Have data as well on a trial for young children with bronchiolitis (that trial is currently suspended due to covid). The plan moving forward with these trials: "Once this pilot trial is complete, our plan is to submit the entirety of the data at 150-160 parts per million NO in both hospitalized adult and infant viral pneumonia patient populations as one comprehensive data package to the FDA. We would like to move to a pivotal all-common [ph] trial for LungFit Pro in patients hospitalized with acute viral pneumonia and anticipate starting this study in the fourth quarter of calendar year 2022, the timing of which is due to the seasonality of most respiratory viruses."
Thanks so much janes I really appreciate it. I'm going to copy your notes and send them without your name to a bunch of folks I have involved in this name at a major brokerage. Thanks again.
Van you said retail was out of your portfolio! A whole bunch of mall based retail broke out yesterday Design Brands was among them! But it was nothing special about Design. I wouldn't chase retail but I will cover the space more since you are interested. Retail used to be one of my specialties along with biotech. A bunch of names I championed in the old days Clairs, Buckle, Children's Place I think a half of them don't even exist anymore. That ole' Amazon came... I am so distressed by the unusual sell of in CPNG yesterday. I don't think it was Quants I think it was far east money-- do they know something? God I hope not... more likely there's another fire burning somewhere... that needs to be put out. I am sitting here praying with my mala... It looks like we have that6infrastructure bill doesn't it but Nancy has said she will not pass it until this big other spending bill is pushed through... Pressure should build on her but this is like birthing a baby... over and over...
Clene enters into two leases to expand manufacturing capacity of CNM-Au8 07:25 CLNN Clene, along with its subsidiaries "Clene" and its wholly owned subsidiary Clene Nanomedicine, announced the completion of two lease agreements that will more than quadruple the company's manufacturing capacity for its lead asset, CNM-Au8, a gold nanocrystal suspension. The first of these agreements is a ten year lease for a manufacturing space located at 100 Chesapeake Boulevard, Elkton, Maryland. The 74,210 sq. ft. building will be redeveloped to support Clene's proprietary electrochemical processes for manufacturing CNM-Au8 and will materially increase its manufacturing capacity in advance of the expected H1 2022 data release from its Phase 3 registration trial evaluating CNM-Au8 as a treatment for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Clene expects redevelopment to commence within weeks and plans on partial occupancy with a few months and Phase 1 of production to be underway in the first half of 2022. Simultaneously, Clene entered into a seven year lease to further expand its existing manufacturing capacity at its site located at 500 Principio Parkway West, North East, Maryland to a total of 32,229 sq. ft. This expansion enables additional R&D and manufacturing capacity for CNM-Au8 and further positions Clene to address its potential long-term needs in its efforts to treat the neurodegenerative diseases of ALS, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease.

VAN- Planet Fitness(NYSE:PLNT)CEO Chris Rondeau said Tuesday that "unseasonable growth" in its membership additions drove revenue expansion in Q2, even though the company's profit came up short of expectations. Looking ahead, Rondeau told CNBC that a "fitness boom" was on the way, as people look to "get off the couch" after putting on weight during the COVID restrictions. Planet Fitness announced aquarterly profit that missed analyst expectations. However, revenue jumped more than 240% to reach $137M, exceeding the projections of market experts.
