Sifan Hassan, absolutely ridiculous at the olympics. 5,000 gold, 10,000 gold, 1500 bronze, and countless qualifying rounds in extreme heat including one where she fell and still won. you have to be crazy to do what she did. silently i have endured the countless absurd track and field posts on this thread. what even is the triple jump. why so many pictures of the women in briefs. but here is one woman worth posting on.
I saw the qualifying when she fell that was sick! Did you notice the 19 year old from NJ.... OMG! So fast. Another nice story of course Allyson Felix- what a pro. But lets not forget about Latvia Beach Volleyball and what a player Tina is!
TuSimple Holdings is still a favorite at ARK Invest!- YIKES- Van steered us away from this diasaster Aug. 07, 2021 9:06 AM ET TuSimple Holdings Inc. (TSP)TuSimple Holdings Inc. (TSP) ARK Invest is still betting big on autonomous truck startup TuSimple Holdings(NASDAQ:TSP). The firm bought 321,657 shares of TSP for the ARK Innovation ETF on Friday and 160,163 shares for the ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF The buying action followed TuSimple's earnings update, with which the company said it is deploying more capital to accelerate the hiring of top-tier talent to propel development of its L4 autonomous driving system, the production partnership with Navistar and the rapid expansion of its autonomous freight network. Earlier this year, ARK Invest bought more than 3M shares of TuSimple on its first day of trading after the self-driving truck startup priced its IPO at $40 per share. TuSimple closed at $33.91 on Friday after a drop of more than 7% during the week. The relative strength index on TuSimple is at a post-IPO low. Van Do We Revisit this now that it is below the IPO @ $40 -? Or is it helpless?
Heads Up I think I'm in on ELMS next week.!!!! PROBABLY SAFE NOW... Although all that conspiracy stuff about market makers & algo's--I buy into it!!! I got a tip-- Look this is from a very general overview of the week's upcoming earnings releases and general news-- & it's the 1st time I have seen ELMS in print as related to EV's it's always one of the other guys... LOOK!!! EV watch:The electric vehicle sector is more than likely to have another bouncy week as analysts and investors dig into the implications of President Biden's executive order that sets a target for zero-emission vehicles to account for half of all automobiles sold in the U.S. by 2030. The pressure on EV startups has increased with huge investments and commitments by legacy players like General Motors (GM), Ford (F) and Volkswagen (VWAGY) to their electrification programs. Electric Mile Solutions (ELMS) and Hyzon Motors (HYZN) are two zero-emission stocks that investors are starting to latch on to. That's my 3rd trigger.
It's not a great chart but this week we must watch CPNG. They report Wed-? I think and I see signs of a bottom. 5 days up 6.8%<---- 1 mo Down 2.8% If you look at the long view from it's IPO you see it could go either way.. FB started like this... If it shoots up.. It's for real. I'm leaning that way. CPNG @ $ 38.90 ELMS @ $ 9.25 POWW @ $ 7.36 These will be the BUYS.... I'm going out with a bang!
i agree with this on this stock. it's pretty low volume. i've been trying to ride the mm/algo efforts on it, but as seen by that 10% drop in ten minutes, no one is making it easy.
Here's my theory on Draftkings. I heard the CEO say they will know by the 1st week of the NFL how the whole year will go. Year Over Year comparisons are SUPER TOUGH because everyone was home betting last year with Covid raging. HOWEVER I am sure that betting is here to stay. I see these kids- these college age kids they are doing it! They aint' playing on Roboblox! It's that working generation that has disposable income and boy do they like to do weird in game betting and other individually oriented bets--bet bet bet. Betting is here to stay and My bet is The Drfatking's NFL take this year is as strong as last year. And when these analysts get a whiff of that.. Bye Bye birdie!
Damn I'm finishing strong here folks. Here's my take on Coupang. China has become a investing wasteland. They cannot be trusted. Won't CPNG pick up a lot of Index investing? I mean you need a Ex-China EM play, not in Vietnam which has a lot of Covid now. (more on that later but Those companies that ran to Vietnam they are having closed factories....) You need some foreign exposure and here you have a very fast growing company.
AMMO I think is going to be a tough sled because a lot of mutual funds probably won't invest in bullets. It's not really ESG. And those Robin Hood save the earth types they are not going to buy AMMO only I am. This was my concern was this the 1st time around and that gun selling web site. Now I feel the web site collects info properly and is on the up and up and it is adding a lot to earnings so I don't have amoral problem with it. If small caps take off AMMO will work nicely. Otherwise it might be Dead money. It won't go down so I think risk/reward is there.
