SNAP never comes out. Isn't Motley Fool the one that runs the commercials on CNBC that say they beat the averages by 594%? Guess they screwed up on CRSR. When do we start our newsletter Stoney?
Those MF commercials make me crazy. Listen carefully to how they phrase it. There is no time period- so Apple at $85 is really helping their average!!!! And FB at $38!! They should be put in jail for that ad!!! re: Isn't Motley Fool the one that runs the commercials on CNBC that say they beat the averages by 594%?

Wow CRSR is not down hardly at all. That seemed like a pretty good miss... Corsair Gaming(NASDAQ:CRSR) shares slide 5.3% in pre-market trading after second-quarter earnings missed analyst estimates for revenue and profit and the full-year sales outlook fell inline with expectations. Revenue was up 24% year-over-year to $472.9M, about $2.3M short of consensus. Adjusted earnings of $0.36 per share was three cents shy of analyst estimates. Gamer and creator peripheral sales increased 41% on the year to $155.2M. Gaming components and systems revenue rose 18% to $317.7M. Adjusted EBITDA was $51.6M, below the $57.1M consensus. For the year, Corsair (CRSR) expects sales of $1.9B-2.1B versus the $2.07B consensus. "During the second quarter, we experienced higher than expected costs for logistics, and we expect logistics costs to remain elevated in the third quarter. Shutdowns from the ongoing pandemic in several large regions we operate in also negatively impacted our operations. We are also continuing to invest in future growth to maintain our high new product launch rate," says Corsair CFO Michael Potter. The stock was No. 4 on the list of most mentioned issues on the WallStreetBets subreddit in the last 24 hours, according to Quiver Quantitative.
Gummy of the Day. Stoney I think near term at least, we need to put AQUA in Granny's shorts. I was reading their report. The lion's share of their overseas revenue and profit was due to currency exchange. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Applied Product Technologies Segment revenue increased by $10.9 million, or 9.2%, to $130.0 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2021, as compared to $119.1 million in the prior year period. Overall revenue increased as compared to the prior year period primarily due to price realization. Sales volume increases in the Asia Pacific and EMEA regions resulting from growth across multiple product lines were offset by sales volume declines in the Americas region, mainly due to continued customer site access challenges and delays. Foreign currency translation favorably impacted revenue by $6.0 million. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I like how they slipped that in, the boldface is mine lol. Today's short Gummy AQUA around $34 if it gets there. AQUA is a good short north of $33.
BofA's Sell Side Indicator hitting a ceiling just below a Sell signal: At the Open Aug. 03, 2021 8:17 AM ETSPDR S&P 500 Trust ETF (SPY)Dow Jones Futures (INDU), Dow Jones Industrial Average Index (DJI), Invesco QQQ ETF (QQQ).. So You're telling me stocks can go down? The contrarian sentiment indicator is still a whisker away from flashing Sell on equities, which it hasn't done since the Financial Crisis. Bullish sentiment remained steady at 59.4% in July, according to BofA Securities' measure of equity allocation by sell-side strategists. "The pause in sentiment comes amid mixed economic data (positive spending and sentiment vs moderating industrial and housing data), spreading of the COVID-19 Delta variant, anticipation of tapering (with the Jackson Hole symposium also coming up later this month), and increasing risk of 'bad inflation' (cost pressures)," BofA strategists led by Savita Subramanium write in a note. The index is 57 basis points away from hitting the Sell level of 60.1%, "the closest level to its 'Sell' threshold since May 2007, after which the S&P 500 declined 7% on a total return basis in the subsequent 12 months."
Don't short AQUA-! This is a perfect example of a stk you buy when others sell. I have a fund that I bought ages ago called Behaviorial Value fund (I spelled that wrong) but you get the idea it is a fund that only buys when stks are puked out. There is a theory that stks always over react both ways up and down. The Earn i haven't read through but on the surface: They Beat on Rev. Evoqua Water EPS misses by $0.06, beats on revenue Aug. 03, 2021 7:12 AM ETEvoqua Water Technologies Corp. (AQUA)Evoqua Water Technologies Corp. (AQUA Evoqua Water(NYSE:AQUA): FQ3 GAAP EPS of $0.11misses by $0.06. Revenue of $369.68M (+6.3% Y/Y)beats by $5.53M. So I may add this name as you short it! Water is a huge theme. I'm really really concerned for California. AQUA won't fix it but my focus is still very much on water.
