OK.... mark this post. Packaging materials are as an obvious target as internal combustion engines. WS doesn't see it yet. Look around yourselves people. Look at how much you put in the trash every friggin' day. I mean for real. And it goes beyond the crap we buy. It's everything. We are raping the Earth. Not just us (as in Americans). The entire world is. This will not go unnoticed going forward. Long term... plastics... (or some packaging material)... made from crops. Find that company. Buy that company. Buy that SPAC. Revist this post in a few years. Change will come. The beat always goes on. -vz
And stoney... if you stomp on this post with a half dozen stupid video's and/or worthless upgrades from clueless analysts you cut and paste... I will personally send Nasstassia to chop your balls off. Quell the adhd. Bioplastics. Find them, read them. And read the accounting first. Read the resumes. Its ripe for fraud,.... But one WILL emerge. Everything is changing. Tech rules. Plastic is dead You guys think TSLA has run(?)... watch this one.
i was interested in this--i keep thinking to myself that amazon can't go on this way with the packaging nightmare. i read their website's page for their packaging plans for the future and they've got some new things they're planning, but they create the new supplies in-house. there was this paragraph on amazon's website about their new mailer: "Kim Houchens, Amazon's director of customer packaging experience, said her team's materials innovation partner, Henkel, worked diligently alongside Amazon to make this a great solution for our customers, for which Henkel received a Packaging Innovation Award." https://www.aboutamazon.com/news/su...-details-behind-amazons-new-recyclable-mailer So sounds like they worked with Henkel on it. they also link to a few non-profits that assist companies, so that might be a good place to look into for names: https://sustainablepackaging.org/ https://ista.org/ maybe i'll look around. and thanks for the tips stoney. atos was great, even though i sold too early.
Thank you for posting on our thread. Kudos to AMZN for redesigning their mailers... but please realize Jane... Amazon sells/delivers things. They make zilch. Its what's inside the box. Everything we buy is shrouded in plastic. Aside from (formerly) music CD jewel boxes... (these were upgraded to recyclable cardboard stock. Hmmm...; early vision if you will.) Soooo... good on AMZN for making some press releases about envelopes... but lets all walk down an aisle at Wally-World. Every damn thing is encased in petroleum based plastic. And that's the same junk you get via AMZN on your doorstep if one chooses to order there. Difference being... it comes in an additional cardboard box. Whatever. Matters not for anyone here anytime soon. Leave well enough alone I guess. I just write what I see. And what I know.
no, your idea is a good idea. i'll research it. there's money in it eventually. i'll see what i come up with.
Good Morning Everyone- If my mood is not elevated this morning it is because the futures are not elevated! That and I woke up with some signs of a condition I get when I over stress. Stoney over stress, it happens.... Over the years I have sort of got things under control, for a while we were calling it seasonal something but I would have these break downs usually in the Spring in which I threw up everything and lost a ton of weight quickly. My acid levels are off. That's what happens. Anyway, the roll out of the vaccine is the reason we are pointing down. This has been simmering in the backround for a week... before we all jump off a bridge though I would remind you that J&J is close to coming on board with their version. That will be huge. This can serve as an extender rally for some of the Covid names. I'm thinking of these ant virals like VIR... and one of the major drug houses came out with a good one the other day. Possibly ATOS will get an extra bump for they are working on a nose spray for Covid and one of the other big vaccine names, who ever is closest to coming to market ought to benefit from these shortages. I'm thinking about CVAC. Initially a lot of folks were warning these vaccines will get into a cost cutting game, race to the bottom margin wise.. now I'm not so sure. The good news if someone out there gets the Covid now their chances of surviving are alot better.
