  1. I've always had a thing for this company, owned them many times over the years. I remember when I held my breath on launch for fear of the birds not getting into orbit. Once they had their system set up in space it's easy to trace the money flow-- This is good business.

  2. One sign that a correction MAY have worked it's way through the system is after a prolonged period of hating everything you begin to find stocks you like. It happened to me today with SNAP and here is another interesting idea. - Van- Storage.

PSTG Pure Storage take a gander at that chart. I remember Van you liked a different storage co and they had their run for sure but I'm pretty sure they all hyper corrected. Is it a pandemic play... Does everyone now have a home and less need for storage? Interesting questions.

  7. An Intrinsic Calculation For Turtle Beach Corporation (NASDAQ:HEAR) Suggests It's 50% Undervalued
    Simply Wall St
    Sun, July 18, 2021, 4:48 AM

How far off is Turtle Beach Corporation (NASDAQ:HEAR) from its intrinsic value? Using the most recent financial data, we'll take a look at whether the stock is fairly priced by taking the forecast future cash flows of the company and discounting them back to today's value. The Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) model is the tool we will apply to do this. Don't get put off by the jargon, the math behind it is actually quite straightforward.

We would caution that there are many ways of valuing a company and, like the DCF, each technique has advantages and disadvantages in certain scenarios. Anyone interested in learning a bit more about intrinsic value should have a read of the Simply Wall St analysis model.

    Is Turtle Beach fairly valued?
We use what is known as a 2-stage model, which simply means we have two different periods of growth rates for the company's cash flows. Generally the first stage is higher growth, and the second stage is a lower growth phase. In the first stage we need to estimate the cash flows to the business over the next ten years. Where possible we use analyst estimates, but when these aren't available we extrapolate the previous free cash flow (FCF) from the last estimate or reported value. We assume companies with shrinking free cash flow will slow their rate of shrinkage, and that companies with growing free cash flow will see their growth rate slow, over this period. We do this to reflect that growth tends to slow more in the early years than it does in later years.

Present Value of 10-year Cash Flow (PVCF) = US$327m

We now need to calculate the Terminal Value, which accounts for all the future cash flows after this ten year period. For a number of reasons a very conservative growth rate is used that cannot exceed that of a country's GDP growth. In this case we have used the 5-year average of the 10-year government bond yield (2.0%) to estimate future growth. In the same way as with the 10-year 'growth' period, we discount future cash flows to today's value, using a cost of equity of 7.2%.

    Terminal Value (TV)= FCF2031 × (1 + g) ÷ (r – g) = US$57m× (1 + 2.0%) ÷ (7.2%– 2.0%) = US$1.1b

    Present Value of Terminal Value (PVTV)= TV / (1 + r)10= US$1.1b÷ ( 1 + 7.2%)10= US$562m

The total value is the sum of cash flows for the next ten years plus the discounted terminal value, which results in the Total Equity Value, which in this case is US$889m. To get the intrinsic value per share, we divide this by the total number of shares outstanding. Relative to the current share price of US$28.1, the company appears quite good value at a 50% discount to where the stock price trades currently.
