There's ways to deal with that, regarding the house at least. I mean yeah, where your at they'll really f with ya if you go near that stream with any type track-hoe to shore up the bank. How deep is the soil there? Do houses have basements or is there a granite base under everything?
We have an unfinished basement and a stone foundation as far as I can tell the house has not slipped but we used to have two grass paths that ran across the bottom area and they have kind of merged over 16 years. And my wife thinks the slope to the stream is steeper. It is a wetlands situation but I think a couple big boulders and a tone of dirt may be in order. But when the stream gets agitated like now it pretty much washes everything downstream. Get this: all those trucks were for a funeral! Talk about respect! Fire and ambulance and every work truck imaginable. The guy was from a founding family here in town and head of the digging/building dept.
Digital Brands Group, Inc. (DBGI)-OOOOpha! I swear at one point this was $8 but it looks like a Dibbs situation a flash upwards by computers that has no real meaning. Putting boulders in the stream or on the bank is the worst thing you can do, unless you use rip-rap about 2X the size of basketball and do the entire bank with filta-weeve behind it. Reason being if you just use some giant boulders, when the stream comes up, they'll create turbulence behind them and that will flat out erode that bank real fast. Every time the stream swells, you'll lose dirt.
I thought I could redirect the stream a bit that way. Van How Bou A Preferred? At a recent price of $6.75, POWW’s enterprise value is approximately $510 million. Total liabilities plus preferred stock is around $50 million. Thus, we have extremely low leverage of only 10% - in other words, preferred stock plus debt is covered 10 times by the value of the company. Assuming analysts are roughly correct about the next four quarters' earnings, POWW should generate $35 million in EBITDA while its combined interest and preferred dividend expense should approximate only $5 million. Thus, POWW has a very large 7 times EBITDA coverage of its combined interest expense and preferred dividend expense. Operationally, POWW is moving into high gear with sales ramping up at a very high rate. Sales in the third quarter of fiscal 2021 were $16.6 million, up six-fold from only $2.8 million in the third quarter of 2020 and fiscal year 2022 is expected to see revenues triple from fiscal 2021 according to Yahoo Finance. Gross margins are also rising sharply. Analysts are expecting a profit of $0.06 for the coming April to June quarter (first quarter of fiscal 2022) and then expect that to grow to $0.35 for the full fiscal year (April 2021 through March of 2022).
