    Funny how numbers work Stoney.
    100% gain takes $100 stock to $200.
    A 50% loss takes a $200 stock to $100.

    DIBS is down 20%
Right where it started yesterday. The 40% gain is gone.

I have no idea where its going. They can have a great business, but who would buy a business that'll take 150 years to break even on the price?
But hey, that's the story of this market.
    Ride the wave Stoney.

But for the record... there's no skill here, aside from getting in and getting out on the intraday volume alert for a quick scalp, its pure gambling. I wonder how those folks that bought yesterday afternoon are feeling right now.

Yee haw DIBS went up 40%.
Its like granny at a slot machine.
You should have told the guy on the beach to call me.

  4. I THINK WE HAVE TO ADD THIS! I KNOW WE WATCHED IT FOR A FEW BUCKS... I STILL THINK IT'S ONLY 50-50 WE GET AN INFRASTRUCTURE BILL-- BUT WE KNOW ALREADY ABOUT THOSE CONTRACTS FOR Q-2....

Granite's key market activities look solid, says DA Davidson 08:41 GVA DA Davidson analyst Brent Thielman keeps his Buy rating and $55 price target on Granite Construction after recently hosting investor meetings with its management. While much of the focus in the discussions fell on the company's internal improvements and go-forward strategy, Granite also reflected on the "solid" transportation bid activities and its water-related services becoming an "incremental tailwind", the analyst tells investors in a research note. Thielman further noted Granite's receding legacy liabilities and improving demand.

  5. ZipRecruiter initiated with an Overweight at Barclays 06:11 ZIP Barclays analyst Trevor Young initiated coverage of ZipRecruiter with an Overweight rating and $30 price target. ZipRecruiter is a leading online recruiting marketplace that is gaining share in the $13B U.S. online recruiting industry, Young tells investors in a research note. The analyst says the company is differentiated from online peers by its artificial intelligence-based matching, "resulting in faster/better quality candidate recommendations and faster time-to-hire, alleviating key pain points for employer-customers." He's constructive on the fundamental story and ZipRecruiter's ability to win share.

  6. There's a slim chance the market really dives tomorrow that has me frozen.

It's that wage component if you have been around as long as I have you know that's a market -tipper of a number. When the market decides it doesn't like the wage number things go down and down for a while.

The inflation is real & NOT transitory... That's the problem. Everything is being decided off a missed assumption.

Being at the beach was interesting I got out of my lower NYC mindset which is recovering and optimistic and I was quite surprised how negative everyone was especially concerning this Delta variant. Should this become a real problem here and it shouldn't but You get a clown to jump through a burning hoop once but.. I don't think the market will celebrate and slowing in growth globally due to this Delta variant. The wait for another " roaring twenties "argument is not going to work.. Especially since this one never panned out.

One more thing. I haven't been to Fire Island in 2 years. The barrier beach off long island is in the flight path of European flights coming into JFK. In the prior years you might see ten a day, eight... I saw 1 in 4 days! A Southwest.

    Stoney!

SNAP will be having earnings here in a few weeks.
They are going to smoke top-line revenue like few companies ever have.
FB back in the day maybe.

Its been consolidating in this range for awhile now. The all-time high is $73ish, and it's at $67 and change.
I think its going to make a run for $80 very soon. $75 is a given.

    Buy SNAP

  10. Van- with SNAP I agree it looks really good. I liked this a lot/

SNAP-UMG DEAL: Vivendi's Universal Music Group and Snap (SNAP) announced an agreement that will allow Snapchat's users to incorporate UMG's catalog of recorded music and content into creative tools, including Sounds and augmented reality Lenses. Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, UMG's entire recorded music catalog is available on a global basis in Snapchat's Sounds tool, including Search and curated Playlists. UMG is additionally developing augmented reality music Lens content featuring the company's artists that will be regularly available in Snap's Lens Carousel and Lens Studio, with the opportunity to feature merchandise launches and e-commerce experiences. Consequently, shares of Snap were up 3% in response.

But on 6/22 Cathie Ark sold over 350,000 shares and all she does is buy.. maybe that's why she had to keep buying all that crap.. and SNAP was stable. Still I might look into this. Other thing Is Biden about to make a big hullaboo hoo and certain tech co's like FB may not react well. Is SNAP in that group. maybe because it's about getting bigger. Biden's team has egg on face from FB verdict. That means revenge.
