Monday-TPI Composites initiated with an Outperform at Evercore ISI 16:29 TPIC Evercore ISI analyst James West initiated coverage of TPI Composites with an Outperform rating and $65 price target. Strong policy tailwinds and technology advantages should continue to drive the cost of wind energy lower and TPI should benefit as "the premier independent provider of wind blades for wind turbine OEMs," argues West. Steadily rising average selling prices for increasingly longer blades should drive segment revenue to the company's $2B target, contends West, who sees TPI expanding into offshore wind blades within the next few years. One week ago- TPI Composites initiated with a Buy at Stifel 04/07 TPIC Stifel analyst Stephen Gengaro initiated coverage of TPI Composites with a Buy rating and $70 price target. Procter & Gamble downgraded to Neutral from Buy at Citi Citi analyst Wendy Nicholson downgraded Procter & Gamble to Neutral from Buy with a price target of $150, down from $165. The analyst left the fiscal Q3 earnings call feeling that the next several couple quarters will likely see incremental pressure and that results "could be bumpy." Commodity inflation is "rough," which will pressure results until pricing takes hold, and some emerging markets look to be getting worse before they get better, Nicholson tells investors in a research note. In addition, tough compares and less favorable currency could limit upside to guidance in fiscal Q4 and "put a damper" on the fiscal 2022 outlook, says the analyst.
