i'm researching xerox for the writing project, but taking a look at their chart is the opposite of looking at the chart of all these sustainability / tech stocks--it hits mid February and starts doing a nice climb. Like...in this current moment...do we go from saving the world to buying...xerox?
Copying machines are selling like hotcakes. Does xerox make copying machines? I have hated every copier I have ever owned. Every single one has broken or self destructed. Back in the late eighties I had a huge Texas Inst that spat out beautiful copies on thick paper like a book. Every single model has stunk since. Epson, Brother, What about xerox? Yea Van I gave that watch list to the hedge fund because I was traveling and I'm pretty sure I'm in on Bally's they should of bought it when it moved. Imax I'm torn on. My wife found a box full of poems I have written her back in the day. How annoying. What is the tenor of the market now? My view: folks buy cyclical stocks because they are counting on the economy to create earnings where earnings are way down. If we are wrong and the Virus hangs around, we stay half open and limp along- people will run back to high growth. the Bond market is selling off. I get that. for years and years the bond market only went up so I don't feel sorry for them. for years they said one day... one day the bond market folks will sell and rotate into stocks. Now the bond market is FINALLY going down and everyone is freaking out and forgotten the rotate into stocks part-- what happened to that! What a rip! Honestly these Bond types want it both ways it's annoying.
