  3. Tech has been out of favor for a bit. And deep cyclical value has shined. The economy must be about to take off. Yet Zoom's earnings and the attitude of employers in NYC paint a different picture. Which is right. We still can't fly to the Caribbean. If you go they stick a rod up your nose and charge you $1000 for a test then they make you stay at a specific hotel and you cannot leave that hotel for 14 days (ahem i have a Dog) After that Gringo you can miander around the island and find a place to eat... God forbid you run a high temp because it's hot down there they will not let you in. I sweat when I travel.

So No things are not back. The virus is mutating and so will this market!

-People will spend to make themselves feel better

-People will probably buy an electric car if they feel like they are helping save the environment.

-People will travel within the US heavy-- theme parks and Seaworld etc.

    - Those new stimulus checks they = more gambling! and MORE INVESTING!

Somewhere back a few months ago I said retail will take a bath in March... I'll find the post.
Wally-World has dipped almost 15% since their earnings. Target has dropped 10% since that killer earnings a few days ago.

Regarding SAIL, ahhhh, everything sold off today Stoney, don't sweat it.
My gut says we get a bigger drop tomorrow. On the high flyers.

I be eye'n Lazer.... my favorite pony. She held $25 pretty well today.
We'll see what happens. 'Only fools rush in' right?
    Who wrote that?
Not Elvis. The melody I think was like 200 years old.
    Anyway, moving on...

Jane, we're lucky to have you here. fwiw.
Thanks for all your research on things that matter.

My GE finished the day up 3.5% Stoney. Pretty impressive on a day like today.

Obviously smart money is betting on them getting a piece (of that grid pie of which I wrote)

    Which you discount.

"We're all putting $25K solar systems in to charge our cars for free."
"They do it in the Berkshires."

Oh.... and guess what Stoney... they (GE) make robot arms too.
    Just like ABB.

We deliver industrial-grade service robotic systems that enable automation, productivity and safety for GE and our customers. We work closely with GE business units, GE customers and strategic partners across the globe to envision, shape and build intelligent robotic technologies from idea to commercialization. We focus on applying our world-class robotics and AI expertise to applications including confined space inspection and repair, remote visual inspection, autonomous field operations, and autonomous aerial and ground systems.

  8. GE looks like it could go higher. Really though I think it's more about their sales to Boeing which should be on the upswing now that the Max is getting new orders.

Retail is going down? When Biden took office and was wearing Ralph Lauren along with everyone else we added RL at $102 it's $122. My people brought be URBN which I turned down at $28 and it now $35 and breaking out. TGT we have had for a long time it's gone from $98 to what-$170! Then there are the Internet retail they are all through the roof...

Montcler we are looking at as well as a few other high end plays.... People are spending!

Ranpak Holdings beats on revenue<-- Ok these guys are the original Plastics play that was on Cramer.. lets see how the market takes their earings....
Mar. 04, 2021 7:43 AM ETRanpak Holdings Corp. (PACK)
    • Ranpak Holdings(NYSE:PACK): Q4 net loss of $5.2M
    • Revenue of $91.9Mbeats by $10.01M.
