Imagine everyone in NY, NJ, CT all turning on a 3000 BTU window A/C at once. That's not gonna work. Bam. "The Great Black-Out of 2024". Took out the whole Eastern Seaboard. If we're going all electric, and it appears we are.....then put every penny you can find into the companies that make the equipment to upgrade the grid. It's common sense. ABB is one of those companies. There's others, but when it comes to stuff like this, utilities deal with "real" companies. Companies that can handle multi-million dollar contracts. Now quit being stupid. Robot company..... Gimmee a break. Ya know....GE made jet engines at the same time they made coffee makers. ABB is a BUY for any and all IRA's. In reference to what I was referring to, the charging stations are synonymous to the little screw on thing (with the screen in it) at the end of your kitchen faucet. I'm talking about what its gonna take to get power to all those charging stations. It's not just stringing some new wire Stoney, it doesn't work like that. Its very complicated. Our grid will need to be rebuilt from the ground up. Pretty much.
