  1. i don't know if this is worthy of the GBA thread, but i like the look of Shaq's SPAC, Forest Road Acquisition Co. I seem to recall the importance of management when looking at a gummy. here's the team at Forest Road (FRX):

"The Forest Road team includes three former Disney senior executives — Staggs, Mayer and Salil Mehta, its chief financial officer. Other directors, officers and strategic advisors include Shaquille O’Neal, Peter Schlessel, Keith Horn, Sheila Stamps, Teresa Miles Walsh and Martin Luther King III."

the abovementioned Mayer, is Kevin Mayer, the former CEO of TikTok

    here's the info:

    Coke
Coca-cola just announced they are moving to 100% recycled plastic bottles (rPET). They seemed to have picked this over their bioplastic PlantBottle. Sound like consumers liked the recycled plastic over bioplastic:

“We have pivoted our plans in 2021 to focus on 100% rPET for sparkling and water brands in response to consumer testing, which showed a clear preference for 100% recycled content packaging over other choices, including renewable material.”

    https://www.packworld.com/issues/su...brands-to-100-rpet-unveils-new-sipsize-bottle

Right now rPET comes from plastic bottles, but will there be enough plastic bottles to recycle for increase in beverage container use and also clothes (some clothes are being made with recycled plastic bottles). The takeaway is that way more plastic polyester clothes ends up in landfills and someone needs to figure out how to recycle that for clothes and plastic bottles. Is there money in this?
