  3. InterPrivate Acquisition is an appealing stock here with an EV of only $3.2 billon. Luminar trades above a $10 billion valuation with similar prospects.

BY THAT MATH IPV SHALL GO UP 300% AT LEAST!

MY WHOLE THING WITH THESE SPAC'S IS THEIR NAMES SUCK! and makes the whole sector seem fishy,... The art of the game is buying one of these SPACs as they change their name and people forget that they are a SPAC.. Take Skillz it's a perfect example that was Flying Eagle acquisition corp when I bought it-- Still a good name! I liked that one but they became Skillz a great name! and they had their first earnings report and now they are just Skillz. They made it! they exist on their own without an IPO. <--- That's the goal.

So I don't like these names like the terrible BFT.... Bil Foley Transimaiatorative or whatever!!! I don't like it- I hate it but I'm waiting for Paysafe which I like and which I think like Skillz once they affect the name change and report an earnings cycle.. people will forget...

Which bring us to Aeva. I saw these guys on the Bloomberg yesterday and quite frankly I am investing in something I don't agree with. I have always said the first time I see a car next to me without a driver I am going to freak out. I may even nudge it on purpose. So Aeva is going to send out long haul trucks without drivers.

On the surface it seems like a good idea but these trucks need their own separate lanes, I don't want to see them on the roads they should be contained some how. And I don't want to take away any jobs that people like. I think trucking has gone way downhill and most drivers would give up their job to a LIDAR unit wothout much of a fight.

Aeva think they've made a big leap forward. How are they different?

Salehian and his co-founder Mina Rezk have developed lidar directly on a semiconductor. Salehian believes the tech is a monumental step toward mass commercialization of lidar. It enables more cost-effective manufacturing and lower power consumption -- the latter an underrated feature of tech hardware as low-power chips make designing a system much easier for engineers. Aeva's tech is also the only lidar that can measure velocity, the speed at which an object is moving.

Right off the bat we have some advantages... cost effective and uses less power and can measure speed and velocity <-- all huge.

--Salehian and Aeva are already looking beyond the auto industry to see where else lidar might be able to change the game...

Ok so here is where the " Lidar On A Chip " comes into play... are there other markets? YES!

--a manufacturing agreement with German auto parts leader ZF Group, annual revenue is expected to be just $11 million in 2021. But as mass production gets underway, Aeva expects revenue to ramp up to $286 million in 2024 and $880 million in 2025. Nearly 80% of that long-range projection will come from the automotive industry.

But that other 20% none of these other co's can do......

Aeva will be flush with some half a billion dollars in cash. And if it does reach its $880 million revenue benchmark by 2025, the company projects it will generate very healthy free cash flow (basic profitability measured as revenue minus cash operating expenses and capital expenditures) of $343 million.

Salehian and co-founder Rezk founded Aeva in 2017. Their previous home? Apple, where Salehian they both worked in Apple's Special Projects Group, specifically as heads of engineering teams for the tech giant's "Sensing Systems" unit.

So Don't Think IPV-! Think " Lidar-On-A-Chip " and Think Aeva.....

Avaya Holdings stock is trading sharply higher on Tuesday after the company posted better-than-forecast results for the fiscal first quarter ended Dec. 31. A telecommunications-software company that has had many different owners since it was spun off in 2000 by Lucent Technologies—itself an AT&T offspring—Avaya is getting some traction in its push into the cloud-based communications services market.

For the quarter, Avaya (ticker: AVYA) posted revenue of $743 million, up 4% from a year ago, and ahead of the company’s guidance range of $710 million to $730 million. Street consensus was $724 million. Non-GAAP net income was $163 million, above the guidance range of $140 million to $155 million, and equal to 90 cents a share, a little shy of the Street consensus at 95 cents. Adjusted Ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) was $190 million, above the company’s forecast range of $165 million to $180 million.

For the March quarter, Avaya projects revenue of $710 million to $725 million, and non-GAAP profits per share of 70 cents to 82 cents; Street consensus had been at $705 million and 84 cents, respectively.

Avaya lifted its guidance for the full fiscal year ending in September. Avaya now sees revenue from $2.9 billion to $2.94 billion, up from a previous target range of between $2.875 billion and $2.925 billion. The company now sees non-GAAP operating income of between $578 million and $618 million, up from a previous forecast from $558 million to $608 million. Avaya now sees adjusted Ebitda of $680 million to $720 million, up from a previous range of $660 million to $710 million.

“We are pleased to report first-quarter results that exceeded expectations across all key metrics,” CEO Jim Chirico said in a statement. “Navigating a very challenging business environment, we emerged from 2020 even stronger. This success reflects the significant progress we continue to make on our transformation into an enterprise leader in cloud-based communications and collaboration solutions.”

Avaya stock on Tuesday spiked 15% to $30, extending an impressive rally. Avaya surged 42% in 2020, and leapt 55% so far in 2021; the stock is up 122% since the end of 2019.

The strong results has positive implications forRingCentral(RNG), which distributes its communications-as-a-service software through Avaya. RingCentral stock is up 3,6% to $424.10.

  8. Up Today Van...... 1st mention i have found about the HYFM shares--

As a result of those asset sales and investments, Terra Tech expects to receive approximately $18 million over approximately 12 months, starting in April 2021. Further, Terra Tech holds an investment in Hydrofarm stock, which it can begin to monetize in early June 2021. With the capital from our most recent raise and the proceeds from the asset sales and investments, the Company can focus on rebuilding its operations, expanding its operating base and growing its revenues.

Normally that might be a sell PR for me-- the story is now out--but the number of shares was not mentioned! & I think when that secrete comes out another leg up?~stoney

    RE: Bioplastics

    Danimer Scientific Inc
    NYSE: DNMR
    Follow
    65.98 USD+4.58 (7.46%)

Thinking about selling DNMR for a profit because it makes no sense what it's priced at. It seems like all the excitement about bioplastics is being poured into this one stock, but there are others that are doing it too that cost way less money. But then a part of me thinks, is this huge financial SPAC boost that DNMR is being given going to make it move ahead of all the others and for this reason it's going to get the largest share of the upcoming bioplastic market. Also their patents seem to be better than other patents?

But my other bioplastic stock is:
    Secos Group Ltd
    ASX: SES
    0.35 AUD +0.030 (9.38%)

You have to buy it on the Australian stock market and the name is not good. But like DNMR they have a couple of factories, they have patents, and they are just about at the profitability mark. But Secos group cost about .27 US cents.

  10. Avaya price target raised to $40 from $22 at BWS Financial 09:49 AVYA BWS Financial analyst Hamed Khorsand raised the firm's price target on Avaya to $40 from $22 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares, stating after the company's earnings report that conversion to the cloud is providing "momentum in growing revenue and beating estimates." The Q1 results were better than he was expecting and Avya's guidance prompts him to "slightly raise" his full year numbers, Khorsand tells investors.
