  7. The Ag podcast was on the Avian flu and vaccinations of chickens. One point they made is we export a lot of chickens and no country will trust a vaccinated chicken because of a low or undetectable virus load that could re-emerge and wipe out the importer’s birds. It’s beyond my knowledge, any thoughts Stoney?

  9. That's what i was told as well. So we have to weigh Farmers exports with our own ability to source eggs. On the surface you would think this administration would side with the exporters but if Americans walk into stores and see empty shelves it reflects really badly on the President.

    If you have an entire flock culled the next one can get it too and there's down time while they grow.. two culled flocks in a row and bam you're done as a grower I would think.

    I'm seeing some brands I don't normally see at the store and that's fine even good.. but I fear when they cycle through we may have a more serious egg shortage ahead of us and escalating prices.
