There seems a lot to like with this name but the results have been shocking: 5 year low right now @$38. I have a hunch this has bottomed. Watch-->GFS GlobalFoundries Inc. $39.41-1.61(-3.92%)4:00 PM 09/20/24 NASDAQ |$USD |Post-Market:$39.82+0.41(+1.04%)7:48 PM
It's funny some stock's uptrends look different at different time slices. ONON. When you look at a YTD June 12th looks like just another day. And if you were to employ the Raw Rolling Paper Uptrend trick you would see a pretty flat arc and a PT not far above right here. Lok at a 1 year and you could be a bit more forgiving. The difference is not much maybe $10. ONON may be played out. I'm thinking of selling. PE 50 2024 EPS growth 149% 2025 16% <--- HUGE REDUCTION 2026 33% <-- then back up.... But will the market wait?

A STONEY DEEP-DIVE. Comstock A love story- This was 2002- Director of Comstock Resources (CRK) Jim Turner purchases 50,000 shares of company stock at $18.34 per share for a total transaction amountt of $917K #7233 Sep 21, 2022 CRK Comstock Resources, Inc. $10.82 0.69(+6.81%)4:00 PM 09/20/24 NYSE |$USD |Post-Market:$10.86+0.04(+0.37%)7:25 PM AN INSIDER BOUGHT AT $18 IN 2022 AND NOW THE STOCK IS $10. YES TIMES CHANGE DEMAND EBBS AND FLOWS BUT THE FACT IS THEY DIDN'T BLINK AN EYE AT $18 SO WE SHOULDN'T BLINK AT $10... AND WE HAVE NEW BUYING NOW AND A KICKER--- SHORTS TO ROLL!/// AND THAT CRAZY ASS JERRY JONES SOMEHOW INVOLVED.. ONLY HERE KIDDOS ONLY HERE... SHORT INTEREST GAINERS High level of bearish positioning in a Texas-based oil and natural gas producer, Comstock Resources(CRK), was spotlighted by an impactful research note from KeyBanc heading into the weekend and warrants a mention in this column. Ortex-reported short interest as a percentage of free float in Comstock was up less than a percentage point at 37.5% this week, but short positioning on the stock remains elevated on a relative basis as it was below 25% for years prior to this April's jump. As the KeyBanc note discusses, the high bearish activity has made the name a candidate for a short-squeeze should Jerry Jones – whose Dallas Cowboys is reportedly valued at $11B and whose Arkoma Drilling has already aggressively purchased over $116M in Comstock stock in August – decide to take the company private, opportunistically taking advantage of the NFL decision to allow private equity investments in professional teams to unlock liquidity. Shares of Comstock were up about 4% in the five-day period covered through Thursday but spiked up about 7% on Friday following the KeyBanc research report which highlighted the potential parallels between Harold Hamm's decision to take Continental Resources private in 2022 against Jerry Jones's recent buying of Comstock shares.

THIS IS SO INTERESTING. New NFL rule PE firms can attempt to buy teams, Jerry Jones turns that on it's head and says then I can buy me an oil company!!!! Crazy like a fox!
I heard some whale out there is trying to pony up $5.734 B to buy them. But they were waiting for a 9/20 market crash. WHO'S YOUR DADDY STONEY?!!!!!! YOU SHOULD SEE THE EMAILS OUT OF EUROPE AND ASIA! THEY ARE CALLING ME NOSTRAVANZSUS ---->5734 ON YOUR CHIN<-----
And from now on Stoney... as it applies to you and your two fellow pimpers... you will address me from now on as Sir Van, Sir VZ, or Sir Nostravanzus. That said... with the proper respect and due homage placed upon me on your part, I will continue to guide you thru the various market ups and downs... ....But let it be known that henceforth, and make no mistake... outside of any laudifications showered upon me by yourself, Stoney Jr, or Big Pete.... (all which log on here under your moniker), you will in fact address me as "Sir", "Your Highness", or "King VZ." Any violation of this new GBA metric, I'm afraid I will have to break off on my own and take my 87K Facebook and Twitter acolytes with me... and do you really want that for your back-water, minor league hedge fund pump and dump operation here? I think not. Stick with Van! 5734 ~case closed
