ya know... all the bs they put in an i-phone... that off-the-shelf calculator sucks. There's no memory key. (store function) And they could shrink the numbers and not use scientific notation. Maybe that's in the settings. Still no store function though. I mean thats basic stuff. I'll send Tim a note. Something in these numbers doesn't add up. I'm showing a non-gap loss for this fiscal year of -.06 Forecast was supposed to be +.04 Hmmm. Take $24.70 Readers made $1 on the way down, .70 on the way up ----> 6.8% in 33 minutes. Thank you Van!
Reverse engineering the analyst estimates, it looks like the analysts were expecting a +1.5% operating margin for the year. They are forecasting -3% to -5%, so ~non-gaap loss of $0.078 Obviously those headline margin improvements they are trumpeting were priced in, and it looks like their guidance for the full year is actually a whopping 4.5% below what the analysts were expecting. (-3% vs +1.5%) I dunno... If it momentarily gaps up tomorrow morning, anything around 26.80 should be a good short. Or take it now and use a $25.85 stop in case my i-phone calculator (or me) is wrong. S ---> $24.89 as I type.
Comparing where the VIX was in the week preceding NVDA's last 4 earnings reports, if you average out the last 5 days on the VIX we are currently elevated about 2+ points compared to that historical data. So it will be colorful. Not sure on the direction yet, 5510 SPX on the downside, 5731 on the upside. Which would a top until late October imo. If I had to guess, I'd say up. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/gba-presents-the-public-games.380376/page-187#post-6009412

Lot of Viking buying going on. CNBC guy said it was the move... Also Cramer admitted he had sold some Palo Alto even as he recommended it and he is HIGH on ON. (the shoe company)
